Gregg young Ford of Hortonville is the worst dealership

Gregg young Ford of Hortonville is the worst dealership I’ve ever been to! The service department is full of xxxxxxxx and incompetence! A bunch of lying 🐔🍭’s. I had an appointment to fix a part under warranty. I was told it would take 3 hours. After 2 hours and 45 minutes I asked how it was going. They said to be honest we haven’t even started on it because we’re behind from yesterday… ok so you knew that when I came in 3 hours ago… yeah sorry about that. Yeah I’m disabled and it’s painful to sit in my recliner at home let alone a crappy chair in the waiting room. The service department has 6 people at the service counter doing one persons job. Icing on the cake the quote before becoming a warranty deal was $220+ more than what I paid a a different Ford dealership only 3 months ago! Avoid all Gregg Young dealerships to avoid getting screwed over by a bunch of xxxxxxxx!

When we sat down with the salesman, he said “I have

When we sat down with the salesman, he said “I have selected three vehicles that have been reduced by $6000.” We test drove two of them and selected number two. Because of my high credit score, I qualified for zero percent interest rate. However when we did the paperwork, I was told I would have to pay the full price without any incentives. The reward for good credit is higher prices! From the salesman:” ford does not offer rebates plus 0% financing. ford (the manufacturer not the dealer) will do conventional financing with rebates or special financing with no rebates. in addition, ford escapes do not come with spare tires, they come with inflator kits.” The odd thing is a previous car we purchased from Ford for my wife received the rebates and special financing. there are 2026 models on the lot. By purchasing a 2025 we benefit the dealer. Before the dealership was Gregg Young, it was All World Ford. But the genesis was Mike Murphy Ford. The nice thing about small town dealers you get to know them and develop relationships with them. Their word is their bond and a handshake sealed the deal. We no longer have that here.

Brought truck in for service.

Brought truck in for service. Service writer stated it would be warranty. After having truck for 4 days they finally got to it and I had to call them to get status. They then said it wasn't covered under warranty which was strange but it is what it is. They said they were still looking into it. Then 3 days later they called back and said it was done and I had to pay some money down before I came to pick it up. I asked how much tland they said $600! They expected me to pay $600 for something that they never called about, never asked if they should proceed and just did the work and expected a large payment. I asked the manager if this was how they run business and he said yes so I will not be taking any of my vehicles here for service anymore. They will charge you all kinds of money without even letting you know until it's too late. Go somewhere else.
