Bought a used Ram 1500 diesel a few months back, they had performed several items before my purchase (have the receipt). One item was to replace the fuel filter. A month or so of driving it , it was leaking diesel fuel. Took it to my Ram dealership by my house , after inspection they told me the fuel Filter was installed upside down and cracked the housing. Video proof and written documentation. Just over $1000.00 later and the housing and filer was replaced . If they cannot install a fuel filter correctly I sure can’t trust them to work on anything else.

This auto dealer will be deceptive in the communication
This auto dealer will be deceptive in the communication to you. We bought an older truck for our son and though it passed "NC emissions test", we have had to spend over $2k in repairs and we are still finding problems that were not disclosed until under we went completely under the hood. This car has more rust and mechanical problems, than stated and the warranty is a complete joke, that they try to offer. Please do your due diligence as there are plenty of trust worthy people working in the industry before giving this dealer any money.

DO NOT TRUST THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!
DO NOT TRUST THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!! Recently took my car in for it's first service which was to include an Oil and filter change as well as tire rotation. This service is free provided by Westgate. They were supposed to check the radar sensor as well because I've had trouble with cruise control thats related to that particular sensor. They had the car for 3 days and said they had completed the oil change and Tire rotation, but had not checked the sensor yet. After 3 and a half days, I picked up the car because I couldn't leave with them any longer. When I got home, I noticed that they had NOT rotated the tires. So, I checked the oil and they had not changed the oil either as it was DARK Brown in color. I called the service manager twice and left messages each time, but did not receive a return call. I did however get in touch with the Sales Manager and told him about my complaint. He offered to have the service manager call me but I declined because I was not about to take my car back there again....EVER! This was my first and LAST dealing with Westgate Dodge! Fortunately for me, the lack of service was free. But, had I paid for that service it would have cost me $184.67. I have the invoice to prove it. All I can say is Buyer beware with Westgate Dodge of Wake Forest!

On n Monday, October 16, 2023, we dropped off my Son's Dodge Dart off at 7:30 AM at the Westgate Dodge for a routine transmission flush. The staff indicated when my Son dropped the car off for the scheduled service it would take a couple of days. After two days on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, my Son informed he had been trying to call the dealership to get an update on the scheduled repair, but could not receive any information from the staff. I called the Westgate Dodge on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 8;15AM, three days after the schedule repair to receive an update on routine scheduled transmission flush. A staff member named Ollie stated " I will check on the repair, and to wait on the phone." Ollie indicated and stated" I'll be honest with you, we have not looked at the vehicle due to the mechanic not being at work after three days." I instructed Ollie not to perform any routine maintenance on the vehicle, and we would be picking the vehicle up due no scheduled service being performed by the dealership after the vehicle being left for three full days. Ollie indicated they could most likely service the vehicle on the third day, Wednesday, October 18, 2023, if we wanted to still leave the vehicle at the dealership. I re-informed Ollie not to perform any routine repairs and we would be picking the vehicle due to no scheduled service being performed by the dealership after three days. She stated "ok". I do not recommend anyone take their vehicles to Westgate Dodge in Wake Forest due to the unprofessional scheduled service we received between October 16-18, 2023.

Worst Dealership Ever! If I could give them 0 stars I would. If you have a disagreement over the warranty repairs made to your brand new vehicle, they will tell you to leave and never come back.

This dealership is a joke! We traded in a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado on April 2, 2020 and canceled the insurance on April 6th as we traded the vehicle to WestGate. On June 17th we received a citation from DMV for lapse in insurance. After many phone calls we thought the problem was resolved until July 29th when we received a second citation from DMV because the issue with the dealership turning in our traded in vehicles tags had not been resolved. Its now July 31 & the Silverado we traded in shows as under our name in DMV, the dealership still has not turned in our tags! Don’t attempt to contact the dealership when an issue arises as NO ONE knows what’s going on. Please purchase a vehicle from a reputable dealer who actually values their customers.

Complete lie of vehicle condition
Purchased a mercedes sprinter. Would not let us take to a private mechanic. Trusted their "diesel mechanic" Was told drivetrain was great. Total lie, transmission blew within 2 months of barely driving it...what a bunch of crooks!
