Stateline Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram 1491 Brayton Point Rd, Somerset, MA 02725 (508) 893-4186 **Frustrating Experience with a Dealership** My experience with this dealership has been a nightmare. I visited with a specific Jeep in mind about a year and four months ago, having thoroughly researched it. Initially, the salesperson was friendly, but once he realized I was knowledgeable, his demeanor shifted to condescending. During the test drive, I was limited to a short route and expressed concerns about the Jeep’s electric-to-gas transition noise. The salesperson dismissed my worries, assuring me it was normal. When discussing my trade-in, he undervalued it significantly, and after much negotiation, settled on $9,000. I felt pressured into a $4,000 down payment and unnecessary upsells for warranties totaling $4515.00. Just a month after buying the Jeep, I faced battery issues, needing service five times in total. My final visit for a tie-rod replacement found my warranty inexplicably lapsed, resulting in a $400 out-of-pocket repair instead of $2,000. Unsatisfied with neither the vehicle nor the dealership, I approached the manager with my concerns, only to be met with dismissive responses and trivialization of my knowledge as a woman. Now, I’m set to meet with the general manager to discuss a trade-in minus depreciation. If things don’t go well, I plan to report them to the BBB and file for lemon law. I want to ensure everyone is aware of this dealership and avoid buying from them. After meeting with the general manager, we could not come to a reasonable agreement. Now I’m out of $17,515.00

Great experience! Straight forward dealership that works with their patrons to find the right vehicle. My sales consultant John Vieira worked with the sales manager and finance department to get me into the Jeep I wanted. John and the sales manager looked to find the best incentives to make the sale happen. I would definitely not go anywhere but Stateline Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram!

Worst place to buy or repair a car
Worst place to buy a car especially certified one's. Bought a 2020 ram 1500 certified unit they said it was ready to go no issue. Took it home next day you can hear the exhaust manifold leak, bad front axle, exhaust flange bolt broken, car leaks water inside when it rains, over 2 months till not repaired, don't trust Mark the manager

Make sure you look very closely at what you are buying here. Worst decision I have ever made was buying a Jeep Gladiator from Stateline. I purchased a 2020 Gladiator with 26,xxx miles 3 months ago. This week a bubble in the paint along the bottom of the Jeep caught my eye. I touched the paint bubble and imagine my surprise when an eraser sized piece of what looks like Bondo came off and there was a crack in the Jeep. There should be three body seams along the left side, there is one. It looks like one that may have been covered and then painted and has now cracked. Brought approximately $7,000 dollar in equity on my trade in to buy this truck but after 3 months of owning this I went to trade it at another dealer, it is worth $6,000 less than I financed due to its condition and history. That's $13k gone in 3 months. Anyone want to hear about how it took over two months and threat of court to get the money owed from the payoff back to me?

Dishonest dealership.
We have had 3 jeeps in the last 12 years. This year in September we brought our Jeep for a oil change and registration sticker inspection. We were told that we would not pass. They told us we needed a brake job, new radiator ( a leak on driver side), and a new air filter. That would cost a total of $5,000. We took our Jeep to a Monroe. They did a complete investigation on all issues. Brakes were rated almost new, no leak in the radiator, and the air filter looked new. I was showed proof. And photos were taken. Our 2015 Jeep has approx. 40,000 miles. After my visit to Monroe I immediately got my sticker. No problem. Stateline Jeep in Somerset is not to be trusted. I will never return for service or purchase a car from them. They lost a good customer. Beware!!!

Absolutely horrific customer service. No follow through or communication once the vehicle is purchased. No one wants to do their job and you are passed around from one department to another. Totally unprofessional. Would give less than a star if I could!!!!

Never buy anything used from them. Sold a vehicle with a failed inspection sticker and did not hold up their side of the deal. Was told they did "vin etching" to vehicle. They are SCAMMERS. STOLE MY 200 DOLLARS with a smile

Was charged over 50 dollars for an oil change plus...
Was charged over 50 dollars for an oil change plus charged for tire rotation that used to be included...needed a couple of filters..bill came to almost 250.00 dollars..would have gotten it for half the price at my local service station...They got me this time but never again ..totally ripped off...Pat R.

Of course the sale goes smooth, service not so much....
Of course the sale goes smooth, service not so much. There is an issue with my truck in which the transfer case needed to be placed, causing vibration. After being assured that I would have the truck back within 24 hours, I had to chase for an hour with them on the phone of the status of my truck. After attempting to be connected I was sent to voicemail 5 separate times, left a message early this morning for a call back , never received one and finally got a hold of a manager , only to tell me there is a flat spot in one of the tires and that I can’t get the truck today. Keep in mind I work an hour away and they had no loaner vehicles. I understand that’s not within their control to some extent but some sort of accommodation must be made between the mileage , the time and the hassle I’ve been through. I fully regret buying a vehicle here if I knew this was the service I was going to receive. They don’t deserve anyones business. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone , and will take this up further with the better business bureau.
