The most dishonest dealership, I have ever dealt with in my life. I purchased the car on July 14 for my son. They sold me the car illegally without having the proper documentation for me to title the car. I am still waiting to have this car titled. every time I call, they simply say to me we’ll have it next week. If I leave a message, nobody gets back to me. They have left me no other option than to file a complaint with the Attorney General‘s office in New York. The car is sitting in my driveway, I am paying insurance on the car for three months now, and my son cannot drive his car. I have even left messages with Nico Levine general manager twice he has never called me back the third time I called the receptionist went into his office with the phone and told him about the problem I was having he said it’s not his job and then they sent me to another number where nobody answers the phone. It’s sad this company is probably $1 billion company and they’re putting me through this for a $13,000 sale. I wish they would just take the car back give me my money so I could buy my son a car that he can drive.

Allan, We’re sorry to hear about your frustration, and we understand how delays with vehicle registration can be incredibly inconvenient — especially when it's for your son. However, we must clarify several key facts: You purchased a vehicle with an out-of-state registration (New Jersey), and unfortunately, we are not in control of the New Jersey DMV's processing times. We've been in regular contact with NJ DMV and have kept you informed with each update they’ve provided us. We received confirmation that the vehicle has been titled and the plates and registration are en route to us. Once received, they will be immediately forwarded to you — which is standard procedure for all out-of-state deals. Your claim that no one has returned your calls is simply not true. You’ve been in direct contact with your salesperson, the used car manager, and the assistant to the used car manager throughout this process. Our team has made effort to keep you updated despite the delays being entirely outside of our control. Most concerning, however, is your accusation that I refused to assist you and claimed “it’s not my job.” This never happened. In fact, the scenario you described — where a receptionist allegedly walked a landline phone from the reception desk located in the front of our building all the way to my office , located towards the back of the building — is physically impossible. We take personal attacks on our staff very seriously, especially when they are entirely fabricated. We are committed to resolving every customer issue with professionalism and integrity. While we understand your frustration with DMV delays, making false and damaging claims is not only DEFAMING and unfair to myself and our staff — it’s also misleading to others reading this review. I had the pleasure of working with two amazing individuals at South Shore Subaru, and I can't express enough how grateful I am for their kindness and professionalism throughout my car-buying process. Matt Caridi is a young and energetic sales associate who was with me every step of the way. From providing detailed insights into the used 2021 Jeep Compass I was interested in, to assisting with the test drive, Matt’s enthusiasm and eagerness to help made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. He went above and beyond by mentioning the dealer’s Exclusive VIP Plus Program—such a great perk! In addition to helping me with my purchase, Matt also showed great initiative in assisting a friend who was looking for a van for her business. Nico, the Sales GM is awesome. My dad bought from him 9 years ago in 2014 and we bought from him again when it was time for me to get a car. He’s honest about price, quality, etc. love my Impreza, and most important he is someone my father trusts when it comes to buying cars. Also shoutout to Daniel Thorburn, super nice guy, showed me everything with the car, talked about it with me. Super simple process, and Nico has clearly created a dealership with a great atmosphere. 100% will go back there when it’s time for my next car.
