Purchased a used vehicle and while it’s a nice car, asked what was done to it (service wise) and was told it had a complete service. At almost 67k miles, I would hope that it had a complete service and the dealership would not leave anything out. Hmmm…. Always remember the old adage…. Trust but verify. I should have taken it to an independent shop. But, being so far away from home, and it was Saturday, there were no independent shops open. So…. 4200 miles later, I take it into my local shop and have them go over everything. Lo and behold, both belts are so bad they were almost broke in two. The transmission, which should have been serviced, wasn’t. The cabin air filter (basic maintenance) needed changed, the coolant should have been flushed… of course it wasn’t. Plugs, and anything else you can think of (brakes) wasn’t done. $2000 later, my vehicle is safe to drive. Take anything these people say with a grain of salt, then drive it straight to a mechanic for a complete inspection. Will I be back? No. I don’t care for people lying right to my face about service that said was done, but wasn’t.

Straub has always been a great dealership i have dealt with the Hyundai dealer for years i just recently bought from the Ford dealer and got the same treatment as the other buy all means Straub is the best dealer I have dealt with they always treat you like family

I was leery at first as they hadn’t posted any photos of
I was leery at first as they hadn’t posted any photos of the vehicle. I sent them an inquiry and they responded a few minutes later with several photos. I requested some additional photos which were quickly provided. We went down the same day and were treated like family! We got a very fair deal as well! In my 40+ years of buying vehicles, I can’t think of any time that I was treated any better!! They are TOP NOTCH!!! I would highly recommend them!!

Wrongfully charged $1,000
We recently purchased a car that was listed as one price on the Straub website, when we got home the sale price on the invoice was an additional $1,000. I called Straub the next morning and discussed this with the manager. The manager said that the price marked on the internet was a mistake and I could return the car because they have seven or eight people waiting to purchase that vehicle, among the other nasty things that were said. It is definitely not that we have an issue with the vehicle we have an issue with the way we were talked to and the error that was made somehow being our fault. We decided to keep the vehicle and was out the additional $1,000. Just beware before signing make sure you check the numbers.
