I had an exceptional experience at Ryan Auto in Monticello with sales reprsentative William Berry. He was friendly and went the extra mile to make my car buying experience enjoyable. He arranged for the vehicle to be transferred from another dealership for my convenience and ensured it was in pristine condition for the test drive. He took the time to research the car and highlighted its safety features during our test drive. He even helped to program my favorite radio stations and sync my phone with the car. To make the experience even more memorable, I suggested they should have a large 'sold' sign like realtors do for photos at the end of the sale. While I was completing the paperwork, William surprised me by creating a special 'sold' sign just for me. Having purchased 20 vehicles in the past 40 years, I can confidently say that my experience with William Berry at Ryan Auto was the best I've ever had!

Avoid their service dept.

Avoid their service dept. Can you be without your vehicle for 10 days? Can you afford 10 days of rental car fees? Because it takes 10 days before they can address mechanical issues, they claim because they're busy. But... truth is mgmt is too cheap to pay REAL technicians and majority of service techs are "oil change & tire rotation jockeys" -(that quote from another Ryan service dept) Owner is cheap & greedy and doesn't have a clue about customer service - that's quote from staff.

Brandon Barth and the whole team at Ryan are amazing

Brandon Barth and the whole team at Ryan are amazing people. When we told them that the vehicle we bought from them 5 months ago was totaled in an accident. Brandon said “I’m sorry to hear that but more importantly “how are you doing”? Just a very nice and genuine guy. I just can’t say enough about Brandon, as we have bough about 15 vehicles from him over the years. And Tim in financing told us to buy gap insurance last time and he told us that we wouldn’t regret it. He was so right. You just never know what is going to happen. The dream team when it comes to buying a new vehicle. I just can’t say enough about the two of them

Needed oil change and tire pressure light was on.

Needed oil change and tire pressure light was on. They changed oil, checked tire and found a nail and repaired tire on the spot. Washed vehicle when complete.

This dealership is terrible, doesn't value a person time or business. won't return calls or texts.Just RUN the other way, horrible terrible horrible experience.Please please please read this before making the biggest mistake of your life.

Buyer beware low ball trade offers

Went in to buy a used Jeep Grand Cherokee and everything went great until it came to our trade in value. They gave us a number $6k below "good" market value from KBB. I was shocked and embarrassed for this dealership to try to rip people off this way. The salesman gave me no reason why it was so low, he looked in shock too. He later suggested to get a cash offer from KBB and they would honor it. At this point we were done this this place but i was courious what KBB would offer not even looking at the vehical or driving it. It was $4k more than this dealership offered. Are people not paying attention to what their trade in values are? How is this place still in business?

Unethical = Ryans sales staff

I had an appointment to test drive a truck at 3:30 5/1/2020. (I live two hours away and loaded my family up to come see this vehicle and got off work early) When I arrived at 330, the truck was sitting out. I assumed it was ready for me to test drive. So I started looking it over. Immediately, a sales person said the truck had sold and that they had contacted me via email. I checked my email.... Yes he had emailed me after I had already left and was on the road. I made the appointment at 12:51PM and I was emailed at 1:12PM (while I was driving and already on the road to come test drive the truck). They had sold the truck out from under me My family and I had drove 4 hours round trip for nothing. . Ryan's automall should be ashamed of the sales staff and ethics.

Unfortunately when you contacted us you only left us your email as a form of communication and we had only that method of contacting you to let you know the vehicle had sold. As you had not left a deposit on the vehicle prior to coming out, the vehicle was available and sold to the first person to see it. As you mention, we did email you immediately that occurred and it is unfortunate that you weren't able to check your email while in transit. We apologize for the inconvenience caused but believe that we acted ethically in our dealings with yourselves and also the folks who had also driven here to see and buy the vehicle.
