On May 7, 2024, I trusted Avis Car Sales thinking I was dealing with a serious and honest company. Instead, I was deceived. I paid $12,000 believing it would go toward the loan for my car. Later, my bank confirmed that not even one penny went to my loan balance. This is dishonest, unethical, and predatory behavior. After working so hard to save that money, it is heartbreaking to see how shamelessly they took advantage of me. I want to warn other customers: please be careful before doing business with Avis Car Sales. Read the contract carefully, double-check with your bank, and don’t assume you are safe just because they are a “well-known” Companies that cheat customers like this should not be trusted.”** ---

I live in Texas, but flew to West Palm Beach, Florida to buy my car. Price difference for a similar car was $4000. I learned this is because there are so many rent cars in southern Florida. I was an easy sale. I already had it narrowed down to two cars. When I got there, one was already sold, so that made it easy. We looked the car over and took a very short test drive (too short in my opinion). It was late in the day. So, since they are not a high pressure, "Get the sale done right now." kind of dealer, we returned the next morning, completed the sale and headed back to Texas in our newly purchased car. One thing to be aware of. They add a $749 Pre-Delivery Service Charge that I didn't see mentioned on-line or anywhere else until I looked at the Sales Contract. Near as I can tell, that's for washing the exterior and applying Armoral to the interior. But even with that charge, I still saved $4000 on a 2018 Chevy Impala Premier 2LZ.
