Very poor and incomplete service visit

I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for my Blazer's first oil change and tire rotation, because we were travelling through Salt Lake. We arrived for our appointment at 1:30 pm, and asked for the shuttle because we had waited to have lunch until we got there. Plan was to grab lunch while the Blazer was being serviced to save time to get back on the road to WY. The service advisor checked me in, and said the shuttle would be 10-20 minutes, and he would come get us in the waiting area. We went to the waiting area, and waited for an hour and 45 minutes, no shuttle driver ever showed up. The service advisor came to give us the paperwork and said we were ready to go, we said something about the shuttle driver, and he said "Oh, I don't know where he is, he's not answering my calls" Well, that doesn't sound like a reason to be concerned. With an appointment, almost 2 hours waiting on an oil change is unacceptable. After we left, I was looking at the receipt, which noted that the tires were not rotated because they couldn't find the wheel lock. No one asked about,or called me since we sat in the waiting room the entire time. The wheel lock was in the glove box, so they didn't look or care to find it. Not to mention, its a CHEVY dealership, they don't have wheel locks for their own vehicles? Since it was the complimentary oil change and tire rotation, they are charging Chevy for the service visit, which seems fraudulent to me, since the service was not performed completely. When I tried to complete their survey, it wouldn't accept my one-star rating and told me the survey wasn't valid anymore. How convenient. Guess that keeps the reviews up if you don't accept the true reviews. This dealership needs to hire more people or book less appointments to actually give service to customers. Very poor representation for Chevrolet, who I am going to contact as well.

I had to bring my vehicle here because the dealership where I bought my GMC messed everything up. Tim was awesome to work with and I really appreciate the work they did to get my engine fixed.

I had a great experience with the service department,

I had a great experience with the service department, especially with Tim who addressed the issues that were caused by the other dealership that totally messed up my trucks engine.

I had a experience worth writing about the guys at GMC salt lake was very friendly and helpful I would recommend them to anyone wanting a new car and no hassle getting it my salesman IGGY was super nice answered all my questions and made sure I was happy with the purchase I think this was the best experience ever buying a car Ii didn’t feel pressured into it I felt like I was totally in control and not pushed into the decision of buying the car so Thank you all down at GMC salt lake Valley your a great team!

went in for belt replacement on car,in dec.2020 car had no noises at that time. left with noise in car, went a week later, told them about noises and what sounds i was hearing. waited for and hour and left with more noise couldn't fix or find noises, now at present car squeels when i excellerate gas pedal. gas bearing rattles, til it catches and no noise, car run just fine like it should. tech. that put on new belts, my car intentially sabatoshed so thinking i will trade in my car and buy new. slc chev /former gus paulos is not to be trusted. but, slc chev is going to fix my car right at there own expense as i am going to them about the mess they have created in my car.

Absolutely fantastic experience, was in and out within...

Absolutely fantastic experience, was in and out within two hours, told them my needs and all we’re met . This was all after we had walked out of Riverton Chevrolet because of a totally incompetent salesman (Allan W) who also made an inappropriate comment to my wife and me. The entire sales team at salt lake valley was absolutely amazing!

Isaac Was The Best!!!

From the moment I arrived, Isaac made sure to let me talk, explain my issues. I explained to Isaac, that I purchased this 2002 Monte Carlo SS off the showroom floor in 2002. Over the years, I have put thousands of dollars into making it not only look great, but sound great as well. Nothing has ever needed replacing, I just upgraded to high performance parts. This 2002 Monte Carlo SS has 55000 original miles. This car is so important to me. My plan is to give this to my Grandson. And I want it perfect. Isaac sent my car back to the mechanics and stated he would call me and keep me informed about everything. He didn't let me down once. I'm a U S Army, Vietnam Veteran. I served in the Honor Guard for 1 year. Performing as the Funeral Escort and holding and folding our American Flag that would be presented to their surviving member. Isaac, and the mechanics who work here at Salt Lake Valley Chevrolet, deserve not just a pat on the back. But an award showing that they are appreciated. A great start would be the waiting room. I remember going in, there would be coffee, donuts, and fruit. Not a thing... If it wasn't for the first impressions of Isaac, the many phone calls keeping me updated. And the fantastic work of your mechanics. I would have went somewhere else, and left 1 star. And 1 sentence. Because of them. And the fact that they knew how important this car is to me. I'm leaving 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Isaac, brings great credit to Salt Lake Valley Chevrolet, and I am Honored to have met him. Thank You!

Christmas in April.

The service provided by Pete and Eddie made the buying process phenomenal. There was no haggling over prices due to full transparency, and the experience was free stress and purchase pressure. The only complaint that I had was that my vehicle, when cleaned for delivery, the lot tech missed some things which were corrected quickly by Pete and Eddie. My wife and I had a great buying experience. To anyone who is looking to buy a new Chevy, visit the Salt Lake Valley Chevy store, you won't regret it.
