Horrible experience – go somewhere else. I spoke with the sales manager throughout the week, and he claimed that they would do whatever it took to earn my business. I said, great, I will be on Saturday. I got in there, and the sales manager passed me off to a sales rep who wasn’t friendly. Long story short, they said we could only discount the car by $1,000 off a $58,000 sticker price. I said, why didn’t you tell me that before I dove 45 minutes to your dealership? I asked them to take another $2,000 off, and I would purchase the car. The sales rep said no, sorry. Very arrogant the sales rep was. He said take it or leave it. Not even a counteroffer to split the difference. I would STRONGLY suggest going somewhere else. It was very unprofessional, and they wasted my time. What do they care? They have to work anyway, so they tell prospective clients whatever they need to say to get you into the showroom. BUYER BEWARE!

We bought a pristine 2018 NX 300 from Eddie on 12/30/20. The process was smooth, not pressured or heckled at all. Joelle was super helpful with the financing and they gave us a really great deal. Sometimes you leave a dealership feeling like you’ve been had, this was not one of those times. I’m so happy we stopped before we went on to the next place.

Karina, we couldn't ask for better feedback. We are ecstatic to hear that Eddie made you comfortable during the buying process, and that Joelle was able to get you a great deal on your vehicle. Congrats on your 2018 Lexus NX 300 and we hope you'll come visit us again here at Lexus of Bridgewater!
Hard to imagine this experience being worse
Buying a car from Lexus of Bridgewater leaves a lot to be desired. Rich Tullo was my sales consultant and I had worked with him on two potential deals which never materialized. The first was a on a certified used lexus on which his verbal quote was higher than what was listed on the website. I had asked him to rectify this and Rich got back to me towards the end of the day to let me know that the car has been sold. It happens. No big deal. I decided to then purchase a new vehicle from Bridgewater. Rich provided me an out of the door price which was a little more than what I was quoted from a dealer in the next state. I had asked Rich to beat this quote early in the day. Rich had assured me that "we won't loose a deal over a few hundred dollars." but would have to check with his supervisor. This was at around noon. In the meantime I have a competing dealer calling me every hour on the hour asking me to commit, as he had others customers interested in the vehicle. That dealer was pricing his car aggressively but is a two hour drive away. If I could get it from Rich for a similar price, why not. I called back Rich a few times and Rich told me to hold tight and that he's working on it. At 5pm Rich calls back and informs me that the car has been sold... but... wait for it... he can get me the same exact vehicle for $500 more than what Rich originally quoted. At this point I called back the competing dealer who informs me that he now has a deposit on it. In essence, Rich contributed to killing this deal for me by telling me to hold tight. I had brought this up to the sales manager, John, at this dealership who was more interested in managing my expectations rather than taking the time to understand the customer experience of this transaction which fell through. This approach to selling to a customer is unfortunate and I will not be buying cars from this dealership in the future.

Alex - I'm sorry to hear that you are frustrated. I assure you that we strive for competitive pricing and accommodating service here, and I'm disappointed that we didn't leave you with that impression. It sounds like there may have been a miscommunication regarding the status of the vehicle you were interested in, and I will certainly share this feedback with my team and work to improve our process going forward. If there is anything more you'd like to share with me, please don't hesitate to give me a call. Thank you, Eric Ruby - General Manager - 732-795-6401
