I am writing to formally complain about my recent brake

I am writing to formally complain about my recent brake service experience at Healey Ford, Poughkeepsie, NY. The service quality during my car repair was unsatisfactory. Despite contacting the dealership directly, my concerns were not adequately addressed. The problem started after the dealership, then known as Friendly Ford, recommended servicing the brakes on the next visit. The dealership was then purchased by Healey Ford, who initially serviced the brakes as recommended. However, after picking up the car, I would get a grinding sound when the brakes were applied—and only when the brakes were applied. This issue persisted over several visits, causing significant inconvenience and disruption to my daily routine. It took a few visits before the COVERING service manager acknowledged hearing the grinding when the brakes were applied. Healey's proposed solution was to replace the rear bearing, a service that cost me over $1200. This unexpected and significant expense was a considerable financial burden, especially considering the issue was not resolved. After bearing replacement, Healey returned the car with the grinding persisting. I returned to Healey when the service manager was back in the office this time and replaced the rotors. A few thousand miles later, the car pulsates when applying the brakes. Healey was unwilling to service the vehicle and refused to resolve the issue. The Service manager told me to go to another dealership. I tried to get another dealership, who did not want to get involved in the mess Healey created. This experience has left me feeling not only frustrated but also deeply disappointed with the level of customer service provided by Healey Ford. I urge the dealership to take immediate action to rectify this situation. It is winter, and with the brakes failing to work as designed, I am deeply concerned about safety. The dealership's lack of accountability in this matter has only added to my disappointment. And if this is Ford's best, I would hate to see their worst. You are better off going to a mom-and-pop shop.

HEALEY WILL LIE AND STEAL!

HEALEY WILL LIE AND STEAL! I went to Ford with a false diagnosis, saying that Mavis believed the transmission was not in park due to a specific error. They fixed it and charged me well over a thousand dollars. The problem continued, and when I went to get my money back, they said they had NO RECORD. Not only was Mavis wrong about the diagnosis, but FORD WAS ALSO WRONG. PLEASE SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS AND RECORD EVERYTHING; THEY WILL ROB YOU IF THEY SEE AN OPPORTUNITY TO DO SO. In the end, it was a recalled item, and I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY MONEY BACK. P.S. The mechanic's aggravation trying to diagnose the issue on my car, as seen on the dash cam, was UNSETTLING.

This Ford dealership is dishonest.

This Ford dealership is dishonest. They have tried to convince me I needed work that I didn’t in the past. Today, they took away my “free oil changes for life” that was part of my contract when I bought the car. They claimed that I had 12 and I let them expire. Never going there again. They must be desperate for business. Chiseling money off of people anyway they can. Not a very good selection of cars on the lot anymore either

Awful experience.

Awful experience. We spent over a week learning about and negotiating a deal on an Expedition Max. Due to low inventory, we were not able to find the one we wanted close to home. We flew up from Virginia, excited to drive home into our new vehicle, only to find a bunch of undisclosed damage on the interior of the vehicle (mind you, this was after negotiating a repair on damage we noticed, but that was not outrightly disclosed). When we were upset, management was not sincerely empathetic to our situation and tried to justify how many over the phone and out of state deals they regularly do. This is not a business I would recommend supporting. We lost close to $1000 and a work-day to be given the run around, due to their lack of disclosure.

I have never had a better experience!

I have never had a better experience with a car dealership! Healey Brothers has some truly exceptional employees. Lance Aiello, Joshua Santos, and Brian Muller all did a great job helping me buy my car. I also worked with Katie and Brad on the phone and they were great too. I reached out to Healey Brothers Ford via their website asking about a specific car. They called me right away and were extremely helpful getting me all the info I needed on the car. I was coming from out of state so we did a lot of our business over the phone or email. Everyone I spoke to was extremely kind and helpful. They got me a trade in value on my previous car, which was exactly at the value I was hoping for. They told me they were charging MSRP for the car I was looking at, which was fantastic news. They even accepted my XPlan discount through my employer. The Sales Manager Lance Aiello handled most of the communication and he went over and above for me. I drove down to NY and was able to complete the purchase quickly with Lance, Joshua, and Brians help and then was able drive home in my dream car! I can not say enough good things about this dealership and their staff. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new car.
