Great Place

I am a transporter and I had the chance to bring cars to this dealership that's located in forest lake minnesota Very nice people here ,super friendly and I see that they take care of their car really well Great inventory for really good prices here

Don’t buy here!

We bought a vehicle from this place and first thing they had the loan screwed up but we worked through that. And I’ll admit we bought as is but after putting 3400 miles on the car, we now have bills for over $1,850 to fix the car and they say too bad! No integrity or honesty here. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Tom, Floyd’s Auto Sales has been in the Automobile business for upwards of 40 years. During that time there have been thousands & thousands of satisfied repeat customers and first-time customers who have had a very good experience with their vehicle & Floyd’s customer service. The very minor clerical error on the finance component was finished up within 24 hours of the time of purchase. A follow up with the bank is always a good idea, since it is an individual/personal account, and that is always encouraged. We wish you would have informed us of any issues you were having with the vehicle. In most cases, we are able to at least mediate some of the cost. Additionally, you conveniently left out some very necessary details in your review regarding this vehicle. One, that a little over $400 of your “cost of repair” were for headlights that were dim, so you chose to buy replacements for them. Had you called, as we ask all of our customers to do if they have any issues with their vehicle, we would have been able to help you discover that there was a manufacturer recall on the headlights of that particular year, make, and model car. The learning lesson for Floyd’s Auto Sales is that we are going to take steps to be much clearer with our customers that they are in fact purchasing a used car, so it is advisable to check the oil consistently, especially before & while on a cross country road trip. As that is what makes up the rest of the “cost of repair” that was $1850. We wish you good long-term success with the vehicle now that some minor hurdles have been overcome, and expect you will get a lot of value out of it.

Fantastic experience

Tim and the staff at Floyd's helped me through my first used car buying experience. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and I walked out of there with a great used truck and easy competitive financing. They even fixed a mechanical issue I found after driving it for a few days. I highly recommend Floyd's!

Update to Floyds review

Just thought I would update the review. The business office did their best to correct the problem. Apparently Im the victim of their inept credit card processor. I can only condemn their choice of credit card processors. I still don't know how I got charged twice for the same purchase but have received my funds back.
