This is hands-down the most dishonest, unprofessional,

This is hands-down the most dishonest, unprofessional, and disorganized dealership I’ve ever dealt with. They will smile to your face, take your money, and then vanish the second something goes wrong. They absolutely refuse to stand behind their product or their word. If you value your time, your sanity, or your wallet, stay as far away from this place as possible. They don’t care about customers, they don’t care about service, and they definitely don’t care about integrity. Do yourself a favor: take your business anywhere else. Northstar Chevrolet West Liberty is a masterclass in how NOT to run a dealership. They’ll take you for a ride, just not in the way you were hoping.

I purchased a “certified” vehicle from Northstar

I purchased a “certified” vehicle from Northstar Chevrolet West Liberty in good faith, only to find out it was nothing but a lemon. Since the day I drove it off the lot, it has caused me endless problems. When I brought the vehicle back in for repairs, my concerns were brushed off and never properly addressed. They clearly do not stand behind the products they sell, and the way they treat customers is unacceptable. I expected honesty and support when buying a certified vehicle, but instead I got a headache and terrible service. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

I purchased a “certified” vehicle from Northstar Chevrolet West Liberty in good faith, only to find out it was nothing but a lemon. Extremely disappointed with this dealership.

Extremely disappointed with this dealership. I have voiced numerous concerns about the lemon of a truck Northstar sold me, and was offered zero assistance or support from the dealership regarding $13,000 worth of repairs that my low mileage vehicle needs. Additionally, I was blocked on Northstars facebook page for voicing the horrible situation Northstar put me in, regarding a vehicle that is rotting and rusting away, needs a full transmission replacement, and extensive engine repairs. When sharing dated service invoices from the many past service visits regarding the faulty transmission and mechanical safety irregularities to Chevrolet Customer Care, GM corporate, and the BBB, I noticed that Northstar stapled the previous owners personal contact information, including photo copies of his drivers license, to my purchased vehicle's sales packet. I don't think that gentleman is going to be very happy with Northstar once I contact him and explain that his privacy has been breeched. Such a mess. The dealership's owner replies to negative reviews with a generic response claiming the general manager wants to speak with upset customers to flip their negative experiences around. The dealership has customer contact information, and should take initiative to reach a satisfactory resolution on their own, as they claim customer satisfaction is their number one goal. Baierl Chevrolet stands behind their vehicles, stay away from Northstar.

I was looking for a used Elantra N and North Star

I was looking for a used Elantra N and North Star Chevrolet West Liberty had the one I wanted. It was a good price. I initially started talking with Joe. He was very professional and friendly. Then I started talking to Joe's manager, Carlos. We found a good deal and I put a deposit. It was a very smooth experience. I was picked up from the airport and was out of the dealership under an hour. Super smooth experience. I appreciate Kyle for the awesome buying experience. Thanks for Bruce for picking me and my father in law up from the airport. Definitely recommend this dealership.
