CUSTOMER BEWARE: You will be taken advantage of.

I was charged $750 and a week's worth of labor for a $22 part that takes an hour to install. I looked up the EXACT part and what it costs, I'll even attach it for reference. I was greeted with awful customer service, start to finish. From forgetting my name, not communicating, and charging me $300 more than what I was quoted (all for a $22 part). After being upcharged, I asked if there were any payment options or financing (very common). I was then lectured about how I needed to ask that before agreeing to work and on and on. John; I'm paying you to fix a car, not to listen to your disrespectful and inappropriate advice. Questions about financing are extremely common, especially when you're robbing your customers blind. If payment options aren't considered, be a professional and communicate that up front. Don't wait until after you've already got your customers by the throat, then try and make them feel stupid. That's unprofessional and cowardly. The responsibility for communicating YOUR policy is 100% on YOU. It is NOT the customers responsibility to set and communicate policies for your business. I was upcharged on EVERYTHING for no reason. Even the towing cost was $170. I asked specifically for his towing price range, he said between $100-$125 depending on the distance. The car was towed EXACTLY 4 miles from Perrin. How close do you need to be? How do you justify such piracy? In addition to the blatant disrespect and outrageous prices, Perrin did a halfway fix; literally using tape to secure a part. I can no longer lock or unlock my car; they didn't even bother coding the new key for the ignition, they just taped the old one in the car somewhere. When it falls out, the car will be inoperable. I cannot believe that Perrin charged me $750 for a $22 part, customers be warned: Perrin will take advantage of you and do terrible work.
