We bought our first Hyundai in 2007 when we retired, moved to Texas, and downsized to one car. That car was a Tucson. Since then, we've traded our Hyundai in for a new model every three years. We found the Tucson to be a but too smalll so our next and subsequent purchases (until now) have been Santa Fes. We moved to Georgia 14 years ago, and used a dealer other than Potamkin for previous purchases. This time around, however, we decided to try a different Hyundai dealer hopiing that the purchasing ordeal might be less pairnful and the service department more responsive. We made this most recent purchase in October 2024 and it was a Tucson Hybrid, which now is somewhat larger in size than the 2007 model. We love it!! We bought our new car from Potamkin Hyundai in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Clay Thompson, our sales rep, was great to work with. We found Clay to be friendly, caring, and honest. A real pleasure to work with. Josh, the sales manager, worked his magic and we ended up with what I consider to be a good deal. We financed the car using Hyundai Finance taking advantage of their 0% loan. The finance officer was Matt Thompson. He did an outstanting job of presenting options and helping us decide on the best mix for our needs In summary, our new car buying experience at Potamkin Hyundai went smoothly and pleasantly. Let me just say this , we have been having a really rough year. All we needed and wanted was for someone to help us …we had tried other dealers before but the final one we chose we were greeted by Javanie Rickards and his smile and the way he greeted us already helped me after a very long hard day . He went above and beyond ..the financial manager as well did to …it may not have been the car we wanted but it was something we needed ..the fact that we still have salesman like them that will help someone as much as they did goes above and beyond.
