Wouldn't not recommend it by our one experience, but

Wouldn't not recommend it by our one experience, but seeing of a van we really liked on a site like cars.com or carvana etc, we asked for more pictures as it was lacking some. Really wanted this Transit connect. But they never sent the information promised. They do not ship cars on contract, nothing. Well, we couldn't get out there because we have kids at home. Too far out of the area. We were surprised because many third-party links to dealerships will be more amenable to meeting a buyer halfway. The women at shells department were very positive but when a man called us back he was hard to understand and was black or white about terms and acquisition. If you're near to this dealership just go in, a lot of the third party car sale sites are disappointing as their inventory cannot be acquired or test driven due to distance.

Service is terrible.

Service is terrible. Took Seltos in for warranty work. Went back following day only to be told that car was in a que and that I may need to wait another few days for them to get to the car. They said they were overloaded with work and that it was the fault of Kia factory as not enough dealers.

Avoid this dealership at all costs!

Avoid this dealership at all costs! They only care about the initial sale and do not care at all about providing any level of customer service after the sale. We purchased a new EV9 from them and have had nothing but problems getting any response and support from them after the sale. The finance manager Russell De La Torre and sales person Mo seek to feel that it is ok to just start deleting emails from us and ignoring our outreach instead of helping support a customer. Additionally their website does not list any information about who their leadership team or GM is so it’s very challenging to find someone else to follow up with. I would STRONGLY advise against buying any cars from this dealership. I used to work at a dealership myself and I’ve never seen such terrible post sale customer support.

My recent purchase at Van Nuys Kia was the best

My recent purchase at Van Nuys Kia was the best experience buying a new vehicle I have had. Other dealers were not able to accept the $7,500 EV tax credit for a purchase, but Van Nuys Kia did. Farid and his manager Ali made the whole process easy and quick, Ali even gave the highest trade-in value for my 2023 Sorento PHEV. I am very happy with my new Kia EV6 and pleased with how I was treated by Farid and Ali at Van Nuys Kai. I highly recommend them.

Brought my stinger in for an AC repair that somehow

Brought my stinger in for an AC repair that somehow transformed into almost 3 weeks of poor communication, constant delays, and generally awful service. I was told about the necessary part replacements days after I brought in the car, without any explanation about what went wrong or why the entire wiring harness had to be replaced for only the multifuse's failure, and my service agent was just as in the dark as me. After dozens of calls and multiple messages, my service agent was been able to follow up on a grand total of three times with updates from the technician, who, either deliberately or incompetently, could only give vague updates that didn't address any of my concerns beyond "it'll get done". I waited day after day and call after call with zero responses, and my update texts only came as "The tech's out today", "There was some miscommunication", "The part's not wuite right and we're ordering another", all amounting to near three weeks of excuses that I couldn't respond to. I'm generally very forgiving between circumstantial tardiness and miscommunication, but together, this has been completely unacceptable.

I bought a 2024 Kia Ev6 through Van Nuys Kia.

I bought a 2024 Kia Ev6 through Van Nuys Kia. Mohamed was the sales associate who assisted me with this purchase. Eric Bradanovic assisted with the finance agreement. To be very brief please avoid this place as they can be very deceptive. I will high light some key issues: The dealer failed to verbally disclose that they applied the $7,500 federal EV tax credit as a down payment. They pressured us to sign, I wanted to go home to think about it and discuss this further with my mother who is primary on the contract and she was not with me at the time. The sales man insisted to sign and close the deal. They drove to my mothers house and collected her signature past closing hours around 10pm. They collected a signature without properly explaining how the tax credit was being used. The way they made it seem was I was leaving with a brand new car and putting 0 down, which in reality they used $7500 down. A contract must be knowingly and voluntarily agreed to. High pressured sales tactics and lack of disclosure prevented us from making an informed decision about the lease. In addition, the dealer included inflated fees and add-ons (e.g., ELO GPS, Theft DNA, etc.) that were not properly disclosed and included without our consent. This brought the monthly payment to $780.32 which appears excessive based on industry standards, suggesting possible predatory leasing practices. The sad part is, we asked Eric if there is anything he can do to help lower the payment and he told us "no". Which in reality he had the power to remove these excessive add ons to help bring the price down. This is unethical & violates California Business & Professions Code § 17200 (Unfair Competition Law) and California Vehicle Code § 11713.1 (Prohibited Dealer Practices). We will get a consumer rights lawyer to further investigate this and file a complaint with the attorney general.

I had an amazing experience buying my new car at Van Nuys

I had an amazing experience buying my new car at Van Nuys Kia. Gabriel Hernandez, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time to understand my needs and preferences, and he was patient with all of my questions. He even stayed late to help me finalize the paperwork and teach me all the features my car has. I would highly recommended Gabriel to anyone looking for a great car buying experience. He was attentive, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful.

I financed my first vehicle at Kia Van Nuys and got

I financed my first vehicle at Kia Van Nuys and got ripped off. It is a used Honda Civic 2019. The salesperson George and the finance guy Eric Bradanovic both are unethical. They added a total fee of $3,785 (ELP GPS $940, surface protection $995, Fidelity warranty services $1850) of additional services/extended warranty without my knowledge. When I questioned Eric about these charges, he falsely claimed that these add-ons were mandatory and a part of the dealership’s policy. This is completely untrue. It’s clear their practices are designed to mislead and exploit customers, especially first-time buyers like myself. They like to scam people and take their hardworking money. I advise potential customers in the San Fernando Valley to avoid this dealership and instead take their business to a more trustworthy and transparent location. The sales manager should see how these salespersons are conducting business with pure lies. I will ask for a refund for the extra services they added and file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission to take action against the dealership. If they refuse to redund, then I will pay the restocking fee and return the car. Also, George kept one of the car keys as I did not have the car title on me, which I traded in, but I did sign the bill of sale, which should be enough. Very bad experience as a first-time buyer.
