Don’t trust the GM at Yark
Bought a New car …. Dealer attempted to pass off the car with a Damaged center console …. The GM Scott Moewe agreed to replace the scratched part by email on several emails and asked us to order the parts and they would reimburse us … we did and only to find out he declined to pay us stating he changed his mind …. How can you trust a GM who writes you up front and changes his mind after you make the purchase …. Don’t buy here …

John, We appreciate you buying the retired service loaner from us. We are comfortable with what we have done for you before and after the sale at this point. We will not be doing anything further based upon your reviews and how you have interacted with our staff.
NO INTEGRITY
Purchased a used Subaru for 12k. Within 3 months I spent 7k on major repairs. At the Yark used dealership I was given a list of checkout which none of these were mentioned as problematic. These major problems obviously were known to a “seasoned mechanic and huge dealership”. Yea I opted out of a extended warehouse, purchased as is. Yet these repairs had to have been known by a mediocre mechanic. Replaced entire transmission, radiator, AC entire fix, and catalytic converter. I notified salesman and top manage and was advised to “trade up”. That’s the best they could do. What do you want from us was their response. Are you serous? Trade up? First of all I would absolutely never do business with Yark again. Trust isn’t there. Nobody should trust these shcheisters. Biggest mistake stepping foot in this dealership.

We apologize for your experience, and regret any frustration or inconvenience it may have caused you. You purchased your 2010 Subaru Forester with over 100k miles AS-IS and signed all necessary paperwork acknowledging your purchase. Like all mechanical items, there is always a chance of break-down or repair that may need to be performed at any interval in its working life-span, no matter the age of the vehicle. We understand that you have been in contact with our sales manager where he did offer to help trade you into something else.
Terrible
So I ended up paying for a 9,000/10grand warranty. Plus the Jeep Wrangler out right! Now fast forward to 2 1/2 years later after many many breakdowns. 4 to be exact, Any maintenance that’s done I pay out of pocket for. I’m not saying 100/200 I’m talking about 2 months ago I paid about ANOTHER 4 grand for all this work to be done. However my Jeep is right back at Yark broken down with a blown gasket! It’s been leaking since I got it back. Anyone I asked knew how much work I just had done so they thought it was because of the heat, it was my ac leaking and it was all fine! Nooooo I paid that much money even though I have the “BEST” warranty that they portrayed to me. No one seems to know how to look up my warranty. My warranty INCLUDED rides when I needed because the car wouldn’t start, I’ve yet to get any ride from anyone even a Uber home. They just use the excuse it will take longer getting a rental for me than fixing the car. Even though my car has now been in there since last Friday and it’s Thursday now. I have a child I’m a single mom. 24 years old I can’t afford to Uber to Kroger’s there and back. We have to shop for groceries. It’s not easy especially because my money is litterly getting drained from this place I got my Jeep. So after complaining about all of this they just now acknowledge my warranty was “hiding”somewhere! What!? What do I do. Call the better business bureau, Talk to the owner. I’m lost at this point. Just whatever you do don’t get that warranty if you go through yark used cars it will not help at all. You’ll just be out of more money that you can imagine !

Please know that we do try to serve our customers the best we can and sincerely apologize for your experience, and regret any frustration or inconvenience it may have caused you. After further investigating your concerns, being that you had the vehicle serviced at another out of town dealership, Dennis requested a photo of the invoice, and never received these photos to be able to reimburse you. Please feel free to reach out to us directly if you would like to discuss this more in detail.
