Avoid this dealership if you can.

Avoid this dealership if you can. I purchased a new battery from them in May, and just a few months later my car won’t start without a jump. A tow company confirmed the battery itself is defective. When I brought it back, I was told they would need to keep my vehicle overnight. That quickly turned into “up to a week” — just to replace a warranty battery. I spoke with the service manager, Scott, and unfortunately received no real help. His only explanation was that “every Ford dealership is behind on warranty work,” with delays lasting 30, 60, even up to 90 days. That might be manageable for large fleets with multiple vehicles, but for everyday drivers who rely on their one car, it’s completely unrealistic. Bottom line: Ford sells the product, but when it fails, the customer is left to deal with the inconvenience. If you value your time and reliability, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for service.

While I was impressed how quickly they were able to get

While I was impressed how quickly they were able to get my car in for evaluation, it went downhill from there. I received a call several hours later with the explanation of why the dash light was on and they would have the parts I needed the following mourning. I asked what it would cost to fix the car and agreed to have them fix it. I was told it would be ready the following day. Prior to their closing time, I called to ask when I could pick it up and was told that the service wasn't even started as of yet. When I asked why, they said my service rep was out sick. I'm certain that she was not the one who would fix my car. I let it go and was told it would be done in the mourning. Once again, I had to call them 30 minutes before they closed to ask if it was ready and was told that it was and I could pick it up after work. When I was asked to pay now and I could get it when I got there, I was shocked that the price had gone up. When I asked why the amount was higher than the initial quote I was told there was a diagnosis fee. A very valuable lesson learned on my part. Always get a quote in writing. Transparency is usually a good indicator of honesty. I wasn't able to find either with this experience. The really sad thought was that I purchased this car several years ago from this dealership.

I have written more good reviews than poor ones, but I

I have written more good reviews than poor ones, but I would be remiss if I didn’t warn people about Whaling City Ford, specifically their service department. And while they will most likely refute my review, here are the facts: I brought my Mach E, which at the time I had for less than a year, in for three items. The heater on the steering wheel didn’t work, the pump for the rear windshield wiper didn’t work, and I kept getting a tire pressure sensor fault. To make a very long and complicated story short and readable, they fixed the wheel but something happened with the airbag and had to be replaced again. They had diagnosed the rear washer fluid pump incorrectly, and had to re-order the front pump to fix the back, causing delay, and after not having driven the car for a week, and after having a technician take the vehicle home, with no light coming on, changed some sensors around and said they fixed the problem. They did not. Light came back on. When I brought it in monday am, I spoke with the service manager. I asked him if he knew I had asked that he call me on weds when he returned from vacation. He did. I asked if he had gotten the message that I had called him again on friday, and he said he did. I asked why he didn’t return my calls, to which he stated that he had a stack of items he had to deal with. Evidently more important than a customer whose car they couldn’t fix. I would strongly suggest staying away from this dealership. With the exception of Camryn, who is quite the pleasant face of the store, I really felt no level of “customer satisfaction” or “service”.

It was a great experience working with Eric on purchasing
