The worst dealership I ever dealt with.

The worst dealership I ever dealt with. Can't see how they stay in business. Complaints are so bad they don't answer phone or return calls every one passes the buck no one in service to work on cars. Read your paperwork, paying for extended warranties for service that I didn't sign for and I never knew about or was told about. Still waiting for a key fob that was promised. I wished I read complaints against this dealership before I purchased vehicle just google Maserati of Ocean complaints. Buyer beware its been a never ending nightmare

A dealership with the worst customer service.

A dealership with the worst customer service. Sales staff never returned calls, lots of overcharges for tag paperwork and refused to honor 30 day /1000 mile warranty. Leadership had a culture accepting lies and disinformation.

2016 S class was listed at $8k now it’s at $12k lol.

2016 S class was listed at $8k now it’s at $12k lol. Called the dealership, asked what’s wrong with the car 5 times was told it’s perfect only high miles. Came to see the car… was told the car is at a different lot, they will bring it over in 5 minutes… while I AM LOOKING AT THE CAR PARKED ON THE GRASS!!!! Anyway, it’s not safe to drive, overheated in 30 seconds while being on. The engine is messed up, the transmission is messed up, needs about $20k worth of work. These guys are horrible, this is why people dont trust used car dealers. Shame.

Steer clear… This place is a fraudulent operation,

Steer clear… This place is a fraudulent operation, relying on the Maserati brand to sell defective used cars. Once purchased they will not follow through on any commitments. For example, if your car breaks down shortly after purchase, they will not timely honor the 30 day warranty. Service and responsiveness are overall horrendous - complete amateur hour. And don’t believe the positive reviews on this site. They were likely drafted by individuals that work for the dealership to inflate their ratings.

I want to share my experience at Ocean Monmouth Maserati

I want to share my experience at Ocean Monmouth Maserati to help future buyers be cautious. I was told by Freehold Mitsubishi that the 2021 Range Rover Velar I was interested in was moved to their location (Ocean Monmouth Maserati) this morning. I arrived prepared, but ended up waiting over an hour with multiple staff giving me conflicting excuses about not being able to locate the car. I was pushed to consider other options and was finally told the car had been sold — which I suspect was untrue. The phone staff seemed more interested in baiting customers than providing honest information. I also found it concerning that my driver’s license was photocopied immediately upon entry without explanation or my consent. It feels like they use fake or outdated listings on CarGurus to lure in buyers and waste their time. This was by far the most frustrating and unprofessional dealership experience I’ve had. Be careful and verify availability before wasting your time here.

I had a terrible experience at this dealership.

I had a terrible experience at this dealership. I spoke with Stephanie earlier in the week about a 2017 Honda Accord Sport I saw online, which had been on their lot for over 200 days. I mentioned I live in Stamford, CT, and would be visiting a cemetery in NJ, so I’d stop by. On Saturday, Stephanie called me at 12 PM to confirm my visit, and I told her I’d be there early. After driving from CT, I arrived with friends, but Stephanie was nowhere to be found. The front desk assigned us to another salesman who, after 10 minutes of back-and-forth, told me the car was sold. No apology, no explanation—just an offer to look at other cars. This was a complete waste of time and money for a long trip. Avoid this dealership!

Chris lies and is unethical by trying to push cars that have warning lights on customers. Chris is a terrible person that could not act tough in the real world. Isiah, lies and works with unethical people. They did not hand in the paper work for a trade in, and we ended up making payments on a car they had possession for two additional months.

Only choosing one star because I couldn't choose negative

Only choosing one star because I couldn't choose negative stars or zero! This dealership is awful! Please, DO NOT purchase, finance or lease a vehicle from here! My 21 yo son bought a used BMW from here in May- it took me 34 days, harassing & threating, just to get copies of the sale paperwork (which they did not provide him copies of at the sale & said they would email him). A headlight was not working when they drove the car around for him to take & was never disclosed prior to signing. He got the run around for a month on getting it replaced. His salesperson got fired a week after the sale. There was zero communication, even when my son went into the dealership to follow up on things. After 30 days of him being ignored, I had to get involved because he was riding around on an expired tag. His paperwork had never even been sent into DMV until I called! His AC went 3 weeks after the sale. And the bottom of his glove compartment fell off that same week. Needless to say, we took his car to another shop (BMW Certified Master Tech) for the repairs, because I didn't trust these people working on his car after the crappy way they dealt with the sale. They do not give a crap about the customer after getting your money!! Do yourself a favor & STAY AWAY! Just because they wear suits can't hide shady- you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still gonna be a pig!
