Horrible all the way around.

Horrible all the way around. Please go somewhere else! Ok, first of all this is no longer “John Eagle” Honda. A corporation (Lithia Motors) took it over and kept the name. I had an appointment to see a used car. Victor helped me and he seemed kind, easy to talk to and not pushy. I asked if I could test drive the car. He said yes, but that it was dirty. Ok? Yes, they had just gotten the trade in, but it’s on your lot and on your website dirty? I had been talking to him for 2 days about coming there on Saturday. Well, it wasn’t just dirty! It looked like someone’s personal trash can! It also is an EV and wasn’t charged. The salesman told me it was my fault because I didn’t “confirm my appointment” so he didn’t have the car ready. ARE YOU SERIOUS? I was speaking to him late Friday afternoon, and saying I would see him at 9am on Saturday morning!!! When do I confirm that freaking appointment? In the middle of the night? Anyway, I drove it and it was actually very smooth and nice mechanically. I had done tons of research, the price was right, and I wanted that car. He said they were going to super detail it and charge it while we worked on paperwork and my trade in. This was at 10:00am. We started doing all the paperwork and trade stuff and about 11:00, I asked him—are they charging and detailing it? I knew we would be done pretty quickly and I wanted to be able to leave. He left for a while to check, came back, said they are going to start now. OMG! He brought out the deal and with my trade in, the price went up! They added in their mechanic costs to the price! What their mechanic checked on their used trade in—$2,000. WHAT? Why am I paying that? I fought it and they took it off but why would the buyer have to pay that??? I’ve never seen that! Ok, we finally got the trade done, a price worked out, and a deal set. By 11:45 I’m just waiting for finance! I asked him again—please check to be sure it’s charging and being detailed. He comes back this time and says, we might have to bring you the car on Monday. Ok, I said that’s fine. Get it done. My car is theirs already so I called my husband to come get me. I waited for finance for a while and about 12:30 Victor told me the car would actually be ready for me to take it. I tell my husband not to come! YAY! It’s being detailed and charged and will be ready to go. Finance comes and gets me and I’m thinking I’m almost out of there! 12:45, I’m in financing and the amount has totally changed. I know that’s normal, but it still sucks! I argued and got it down closer to where it was, but still not what I wanted. Finance guy was fast but turns out he was too fast. I found errors on some of the documents (my fault too, I know). 1:30 I’m out of financing and thinking I’m home free. My salesman had to leave and I have a new lady. She lets me know that my car is being detailed now and that it will be at least 2 more hours. OMG!? What!? Remember, it was supposed to be in detailing since 10am! Yes, it was disgusting! but how slow are these people? I asked her if it was charging and she checked and it was not. I was there FOREVER! The car was not charged, not cleaned well, it died on my way home and I had to pay $220 for a tow truck to get the car home. Why do they have a filthy, uncharged car on their lot and on their website? I was there 6.5 hours but the deal took 4. The whole experience was just unprofessional, and left me with a bad feeling for that place.
