Very unprofessional and misleading they will tell you

Very unprofessional and misleading they will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to sign the agreement then they will not help you at all after selling you a new damaged vehicle I do not recommend this dealership at all

Visited the dealership today after getting a text from

Visited the dealership today after getting a text from the "manager" (what it said in the text). The text stated the deal would be where I needed it to be. Since we talked numbers previously, I assumed this was referenced before the message. I requested verification and was told "The manager is tied up with a customer in store but he did say you would be right where you want to be!"... I showed up and it seemed no one had updated the deal and they offered me the same vehicle still 150 bucks per month above what we talked. Everyone was polite and I called back and expressed my frustration to the manager to say this is in poor taste. He did acknowledge the issue and apologized, but that does not change a wasted evening or frustration in changing plans around to come into the dealership. Very nice people, but I cannot in good conscience recommend this place as I lack trust in this company. If they did not do the research and numbers first, why reach out and text me to come in with false information.

Horrible place

Horrible service. I had a verbal agreement to buy a vehicle and they sold it before I got there. Worst dealership I’ve ever had. Absolutely worst service ever.

Worse experience,mistreated,don't feel appreciated

Well my experience began in June. I took my 2008 Suburban to them with a miss in cylinder 4. They first told me they found the problem and could get the part from Jackson the next day the 28th and I could pick my vehicle that afternoon for $780. Well the 28th comes they ran into a problem. Then another, So I goes up there on the Saturday of the week I think the 2nd of July ask to speak with the manager to see what's the problem, after speaking with Mr. Mike we was in a decent place, to not having the price ran up on me. So the next call I get from Coast Chevrolet was they found the problem, AGAIN, after doing a more thorough diagnostic and was confident they found my problem. They said it was my computer and they had to replace it and that would fix the issue and my " OFF THE LOT PRICE TO FIX MY TRUCK" Would be $1275. I agreed because now this is not a shade tree mechanic but a dealership and they have to stand by the name Chevrolet. BUT, yet again was turned away when trying to pick up the vehicle. Now I'm extremely pissed. Whatever Technician was working on my vehicle was very incompetent and I hate to say that, but if anyone experienced what I did, they would say the same. So after going from 780, to 1275, I was told I need a motor and they had a company with a used motor with 149,000 miles for $2300 with 6months warranty or for $600 more a 3 year warranty unlimited miles and $1500 towards labor cost if the motor go out within the 3 years or a brand new mother for $4900 with factory warranty. Well after careful consideration I chose the used motor because that deal sounded WAY better and more appeasing.... so I was told with the used motor it would be the low $4000s then it went to $5881. So I was all over the place and told them to give me the price on what they already done and I would try to go a cheaper route. I was told $1021 so I let them know I'll bring them that and come get my truck. So go the following day to pick up my truck after I get off and was turned away again because the truck wasn't put back together and it would take an hour and they would drop it off at my house. Well after I made it home and test drive my truck it was extremely worse. It didn't want to go over 20mph, so I called left a message, with tears in my eyes because now my mind is in a bad place and my wifeband kids needs me free. So I take the truck back up there the next day and Tyler, who was a stand up guy, him and Mike, he said he knew I would have a problem with the truck because he was the one to drop it off and it didn't want to get over the bridge to get to my house. So with his compassion as a human being gave me a loaner for the weekend, which was an upstanding thing to do. So my anger is not with Mr. Tyler or Mr. Mike but with the company for allowing the incompetence of whatever technician that worked on my car to purposely run the price up. I say purposely because these are professional and have some of the best equipment and test by being CHEVROLET and to tell any customer a price and pickup date, it should be final. You dont give out prices and pickup dates unless you are sure.... im out of $5707.69.... I could go on

General Manager/Finance person were helpful.

Our salesperson was Beau and he was awesome. Answered our questions and if he was not sure, he found the answer for us. I would go to him again.

Would never do business with them again for

They didn’t pay off my trade in and destroyed my credit and lied about it said it was a mistake but they got the pay off amount twice and it still took 30 days to pay it

The service department will not take responsibilit

Make sure if you take your car in for service you do a walk around with the advisor,I took my Cadillac Escalade to get service and got it back and they scratched the rims on it and refuse to take responsibility. They give you the run around and play phone tag so you can not speak to anyone. We had to come from Alabama 3 times in person in order to speak to someone. And they would not take responsibility. Beware of this service department!

Best in the Coast

I recently bought a 2021 Chevrolet Malibu from Coast Chevrolet. It was the best buying experience I have ever had. The staff was friendly and very professional. I recommend them to everyone in the market.
