Service associate Allysa made my day!

Service associate Allysa made my day! AC not working! Hot, Hot, Hot. Just as I was getting in the shuttle for a ride home, she came running out and said "it's fixed". The DUAL button on the AC controls had been depressed accidently. Saved me a diagnostic fee. Five stars for her!!

Loyalty

I have been on the search for a car for awhile now. I saw the 2019 Hyundai Kona advertised with this dealer and immediately contacted them. On Wednesday, I was told by Ben that the car had not been through service but I could come view it without testing driving. I came that same day and was told that it would go to service Friday, the day after the holiday, and it would be ready for a test drive the following week. I received a call from the dealership on Friday from a woman, who I assume was responding to my initial online inquiry that was placed prior to presenting to the deals on Wednesday. She advised me that the Hyundai was no longer available. I asked how could that be when it was only Friday morning and the car was supposed to be in service; I suggested someone bought the car without test driving and she said she would find out. I later received a call from Ben confirming another buyer was allowed to purchase the car, and other options were offered to me. I feel that this was poor business. I did not know that it was an option to purchase the car without test driving, it would have been courteous if someone would have contacted me and said that there is another interested buyer wanting to purchase without test driving to see if I would like to do the same since I was first to reach out about the car. To top that off, the car is still advertised online as available to buy with the price reduced by $500. This was not a good first experience with this dealership.

The best experience we’ve had at a dealership!

During our time at McCarthy Honda we worked with Ben and he is incredible at his job! He is a straight shooter and his motivation really was to find a car that was the best fit for us. He happily and professionally handled all of our questions, comments & concerns. He was knowledgeable about the cars in stock, financing options and respectful of our boundaries. We did find a car we loved, but it was outside of our decided budget. During negotiations we worked with Rodney. He patiently and kindly explained exactly why the price point we were trying to negotiate down to wasn’t feasible, but he did try to find creative solutions to get us in something similar within our budget. Even after he realized the sale likely wasn’t going to happen, he was never patronizing or dismissive. Ultimately, we did not end up purchasing a vehicle during this visit. We are going to keep up with their new inventory as it comes in online because we actually WANT to buy from them. In today’s world we (as a society) have to be more cognizant than ever about putting our money in the hands of good people, and we have no doubt McCarthy Honda is one of the best dealerships in town (if not THE best) with GREAT people. If you are new to buying cars or are tired of “used car salesman gimmicks”, start here, ask for Ben or Rodney, and prepare for a top tier car buying experience!

Great experience on service on my CRV

I had my car serviced for winter a few days ago. My technician, Jason Moss, is always so helpful. I had a 5* experience and everything was done to get my 2018 CRV ready for winter.

Deceitful

People tried to cheat us into paying an extra 3500 on a car. Would have been fine if that price was upfront. But the fact that they hid the fees til the end was deceitful

Mean and useless

They are mean and do not help customers at all, tell something not reasonable. Would never come back or deal with them, so disappeared, regretting choosing them. Be aware

Deceiving

Deceiving, the price of the car was 26,000 on-line. Go to buy the car they ad $1500 for protection plan and $699 admin fees. So the car is now $29000 +. Show me that price up front and don't try to add an additional 3k on.

Do not trust this dealership

Absolute worst dealership there is. Deceitful, bait and switch type business. If I could give them zero stars I would. We gave McCarthy a $500 deposit for a car in Sept., was advised it arrived in late Nov., I went in the next day to see and test drive the car (they didn't have any to see or test drive when we put the deposit down). I asked about what seemed like a high administrative fee of $699 and "required" add on package for $1499 and told both were required. I told them I'd talk to my husband. I called back less than 2 hours later and was told they already sold the car to someone else! Not even the courtesy of 2 hours. And they HAD NOT refunded my deposit. Do NOT trust this dealership.
