Very good experience.

Very good experience. Each step of the process there was politiness and respect. Youre each trying to accomplish a different goal (more vs less $) so there's always going to be friction in car buying. But from salesman, to sales manager to finance all were respectful, patient and straight forward

I contacted the service center weeks in advance regarding

I contacted the service center weeks in advance regarding a recall on my car and was told I would receive a callback. Unfortunately, no one ever reached out. After waiting, I called again and was informed that they would order the necessary part—a fuse—and get back to me. Eventually, they scheduled the service. I arrived 30 minutes before my appointment and was assured that everything would be taken care of within an hour. The waiting area was clean, organized, and well-stocked with amenities such as popcorn, coffee, and tea. I helped myself to a cup of black tea and settled in, expecting to be called soon. However, as time passed, I noticed customers who arrived after me getting their services completed before mine, which only heightened my frustration. Despite this, I remained patient, as I needed to wait in the area to pick up my kids after their practice. Thankfully, a gentleman stepped in to check on my situation and promised to follow up. Even so, the waiting continued to drag on, so I approached the front desk clerk handling calls and paperwork. She also inquired on my behalf. Finally, after an unnecessarily long wait, my car was ready—just as the service center was closing. To put this into perspective, I had arrived at 3:00 PM and didn't complete the process until 5:46 PM. Here’s my advice: if you have a better alternative, avoid Hyundai of El Cajon services. If not, set clear expectations upfront regarding the wait time and services needed to avoid wasting unnecessary time and energy. I’m giving 2 stars solely because the two gentlemen who assisted me were respectful and polite.
