The GM contacted me today to apologize for poor service
The GM contacted me today to apologize for poor service that I received for my key. We discussed the issue and he said they cut the emergency key for and would reimburse my time and expenses. That was not necessary but was appreciated. They even offered to deliver the key and reimbursement. To me they above and beyond to correct a problem.

Drove from Panama City FL for an appointment to have my
Drove from Panama City FL for an appointment to have my key programmed and the emergency key cut. They programmed the key but told me they couldn’t cut the key because the only person who could do that was the service manager. I left very frustrated to have driven two hours for an appointment to have the key made which couldn’t happen. Following that I called to speak to the GM who gave his word to call me back and has not. For a $500 key I would expect at least the courtesy of a call by the GM with an acknowledgement of how idiotic it is that only one person in the dealership can cut a key and an apology and perhaps more, like a tank of gas. The prices quoted on Cars.
The prices quoted on Cars.com and their website are nothing but "come ons" to get you in or to call. They attempt to add about $2500 in "Government" fees - NOT taxes or tag, FEES - to the prices shown, claiming they are mandatory State fees, just like taxes. Obviously this is an outright lie. Look at their ratings on other online car sites and even the BBB. Dealerships and salespeople like this are why car salespeople have a bad rep. One Step Subaru is a place to avoid!

I purchased a vehicle on 4/30/24.
I purchased a vehicle on 4/30/24. The sales process was great. My salesperson was very professional. The only problem I had with the sales process was that I was initially told there were two sets of keys to the vehicle. Upon purchase of the vehicle, I was informed that there was only one set of keys. The biggest disappointment with this dealership is post-sales. I have contacted the finance department that handles the tags three separate times to find out when I will receive my tag. I have not received a response from all my correspondence. And no resolution has been given. My temporary tag expires tomorrow, and I have not received my new tag. Nor has the dealership offered to issue another temporary tag.

They were good about showing and telling about the vehicle. Very courteous. The sales process was smooth. The post sales process is not smooth. After a month, I still have not received all the final paperwork. I had to place several calls to clear that up. I had to contact Subaru corporate to find out if car was registered sir the contract. They didn’t sell me the right Starlink package and the wrong mats were in the car. And now the temp tag is expired and I cannot get them to tell me what the ETA is or send me a new temp tag. Post sales support in this first month has been lacking. The car has been wonderful.
