Sales person was very good to work with. Listened to what I was looking for and didn’t pressure me.

Great service. Listened to what I wanted. I would go back there if I need another vehicle.

Extremely Disappointing Service Experience at DeYarman Ford (Indianola, IA) I've owned a Ford purchased from DeYarman and, until recently, had all service performed by DeYarman technicians under Ford warranty coverage. For years, my experiences were generally satisfactory. Unfortunately, my recent experience has completely changed my perception of this dealership. My primary concerns are, poor communication, questionable service quality, and uncertainty regarding the dealership's handling of Ford warranty repairs and its advertised 12-month/12,000-mile warranty. The issues began with repairs that were performed in September 2025 and were not properly diagnosed or repaired. Earlier this year, I brought my vehicle in for service and DeYarman ultimately kept it for more than a month. Nearly three months later, when I was finally notified that the vehicle was ready, I arrived to pick it up only to find that the original problem was still visibly present. At that point, my confidence in the quality of the repair work was broken. This was not a parts availability issue. Instead, it felt like there was a persistent attitude of "we're not wrong" rather than a genuine effort to resolve the problem. Communication was poor throughout the process, and I often felt like I was doing the legwork myself just to move the repair forward. One particularly frustrating example involved Ford warranty coverage. Ford Corporate eventually had to provide me with the correct dealer warranty repair phone number because DeYarman was contacting the wrong department. As a customer, I should not have to help a Ford dealership navigate Ford's own warranty process. Even more concerning is that my vehicle is still in the shop because the repairs were not correctly addressed the first time, or even the second time. One of the issues involves retractable running boards that visibly do not retract all the way. If a repair defect is that obvious and easily seen, it naturally raises concerns about the quality of the work being performed in areas that customers can't see. At this point, trust has been lost. The dealership's handling of the diagnosis, repairs, warranty process, and customer communication has been disappointing from start to finish. The only reason I continue to use DeYarman Ford is because it is the closest Ford dealership to my location. In fact, I had been seriously considering purchasing a Bronco Raptor, but this experience has made me question not only where I would service it, but whether buying another Ford is worth the inconvenience of trying to find a reliable dealership nearby. Overall: Poor communication, poor repair quality, repeated failed repair attempts, and a customer experience that has left me with little confidence in the dealership moving forward.

I bought a 2025 Ranger sight unseen from 1500 miles away and honestly it was one of the best buying experiences I've ever had. I called looking for a new Ranger and was lucky enough to talk with Thomas Newman. He was 100% the easiest guy to deal with. Answered all my questions, kept me informed and handled everything that needed to be taken care, including arranging a ride from the Des Moines airport to Indianola. He even called a week later checking on anything I might need. If I knew someone looking for a new Ford, I would not hesitate to recommend DeYarman Ford and Thomas Newman.

Love this dealership from the first visit everyone is so welcoming and professional without any pushyness. Derek was our Salesman three years ago when we bought our new Ford Edge. He reached out when he saw me looking online couple days ago and asked if he could help me. Just bought a Ford Ranger from him.

We were very impressed with the dealership. You have a lovely building. The truck we purchased was in extremely good condition. We were very happy with the service we received. Scott Brown did an excellent job of explaining all the details to us. We would recommend your dealership to anyone looking for a quality vehicle.
