Consumers Car Buyers Beware: I have contacted Mr.

Consumers Car Buyers Beware: I have contacted Mr. Alam the Sales GM at Legend Nissan and lifted him a voicemail although and unfortunately he ignored my voicemail after several attempts to get hold of him. Then I was successful enough to speak with Mr. BM the “finance BM” and after back and forth with the main GM throughout Mr. BM to move forward and agreed to sell the specific vehicle I’m looking for to out of the state of NY specifically into Virginia if I’m to provide the required documentation. When I have informed Mr. BM that I have pr-approved financing from Capital One Auto and I have requested an estimated final monthly payments dollar amount number, then he throws in an unreasonable so called “dealer-fees/documentation-fees” of >$2,999.00< in which is not required by law to pay in any State in the U.S. Nevertheless, I agreed to pay only $1,500 in “dealership-fees” as it is the maximum any buyer/s would pay at any dealership at most dealership’s in the country per my research online. The majority of Nissan dealerships in Virginia, Maryland and DC charges anywhere from $599 to $799 and in some cases up to $999 in dealership’s “documentation-fees/dealership-fees”, but going to the extreme of “$2,999” is definitely unreasonable unrealistic and unfair business practices. Unquestionably shows that the only reason showing a “Great-Deal” advertising price on the Legend Nissan website and on the most Searchable Auto Buying/Selling Search Engines is because Legend Nissan inflated the so called “dealership-fees/documentation-fess”! After discussing this concern with Mr. BM, he told me that he will ask his “boss” and he will get back with me, to inform me that NO he cannot make the “doc-fees” at $1,500 nor he can discount the vehicle $1,500 in which proves that this is a false-advertisement internet pricing and it is nothing but to manipulate the average car-buyers consumers into believing that they are buying a “great-deal” vehicle at Legend Nissan! Not only that, Mr. BM ask me just to fly-in and wasting about $200 or more during this upcoming holiday season in airfares when even I can’t take this advertised vehicle to conduct a (pre-perches) inspection out of my own pocket on the top of the airfare’s tickets in which about $175 at a third-party Nissan and/or none Nissan dealership at the same city where is Legend-Nissan located. Checking and inspecting a major perches such a vehicle or a property by a third party legitimate specialist is extremely or highly recommended by consumers reporting agencies and by law. I don’t know if Legend Nissan sales manager/s, finance-managers or sales representatives really don’t think or even believes that at this time and age in 2025 where the internet and social-media’s related platforms involved in 99% of the consumer’s buying decision. Respectfully, shady or manipulative car-buying tactics don’t usually work anymore nowadays especially with the informed and the educated general public. Straight forwardness, truthfulness, integrity, professionalism and due-diligence is the key for “Five-Stars” and beyond for any business reputation in any industry. Buyers Beware!

be aware of $695 docs fees.

be aware of $695 docs fees. I called the dealer and asked about their fees. they told me they charge $695 docs fees. I told the sales person, it is New York and the fees are $175 only. she said the $695 are extra fees. still I need to add the $175, inspection and registration fees. I told her other dealers in NY do not charge docs fees. they only charge State fees $175 and taxes and the dmv. she told me to do a deeper research. so here is my research, I bought 2 cars within the 2 years. 2020 Subaru and 2025 Sienna. with both dealers I only paid the $175 fees. the dealers are for your reference. VWhudson Valley in Wappingers falls and Johnson Toyota in Middletown NY. Also, just called Auto mall in Port Jervis NY, they said the only fees they charge is the $175, taxes AND dmv. NO DOCS FEES. Do not buy from them or agree to any docs fees in NY

This trip to Legend Nissan Service was for my inspection

This trip to Legend Nissan Service was for my inspection that was due. I was a walk-in no appointment, we seen right away fast friendly service. Always a great experience. I’ll be 62 in a couple of weeks. I’ve been driving since I’m 16 years old. This is the first place I’ve ever taken my car where I can honestly say they’re not trying to sell you something you don’t need. I went in for an inspection, it’s the perfect opportunity to try to take advantage of somebody. Not at Legend, the car has just over 30,000 miles on , I needed nothing just the inspection.
