My 2026 GV70 Is in the shop at Kearney Mesa Genesis after only five hundred miles. The car, which is a giant computer, contacted Genesis itself to say that it wasn't running well. I was informed that yes, it had a problem but does not now seem to have the same problem. I was promised I would get a loner and have valet service. I have received none of the above. I called three times and reached only the Subaru department. At this point I would say , you cannot trust Genesis of Kearney Mesa. Buyer, beware. Hope I have a chance to express myself in the future. And a shout out to Ryan, who I would hope would return my call after promising me the world.

Had a great experience buying my vehicle through this dealership. Parham and Ryan were both super helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process. They took the time to answer all my questions, and everything was handled smoothly, even given my peculiar situation. I really appreciated their responsiveness and how straightforward they made everything. Highly recommend working with them — solid team.

As of Sept.
As of Sept. 2024 it now takes over 9 weeks to get a service appointment. My first appointment for my GV60 took nearly 6 weeks, the second took 7 weeks. Now 9 weeks and all for the same issue. However, it takes several calls to make the appointment. They have two services advisors, no shuttle and no loaners. They provide a Lyft ride to work or home - one way. Yes, you're on your own to get back to pickup your vehicle. Steering wheel vibration has always been present between 70-75 mph. After balancing and tire rotation, KM Genesis said that was a normal characteristic of the car itself. Right. I continue to have home charging (level 2) issues as the car simply stops charging after a few hours. Genesis closed the other 2 dealers in San Diego county, so KM is it. I'm done with this car and cutting bait.

I bought my car through an auto service so don't have direct knowledge of sales dept. However the service dept is excellent. I always get great service. I have nothing to complain about. Very happy with my Genesis.
