As I was driving home my alternator went out and I just...
As I was driving home my alternator went out and I just made it to the dealership before my battery went completely dead. I limped in unscheduled to the Northwood Chevy service department just before noon on a Friday and Brent came over to help. I explained what had just happened and indicated to him that I would like to get my vehicle repaired by the end of the day so that I could make the two hour trip home for the weekend. He said that the service dept. was going to lunch and that he would see what he could do and would call me back after lunch. Brent promptly called me at 1:15 pm and said they had located an alternator and that they would install it that day. I then got another call from Brent at about 2:30 pm and he said that my vehicle was ready to pick up. What a fantastic service department! I'm sure they could have scheduled me in after all the other vehicles that were in the shop but recognized my desperate situation and took prompt action. I don't often have good experiences with dealerships so I feel the need to point it out when a dealership goes above and beyond to support its customers.
