Good experiencing buying my car. Imagine that?
I don't like car shopping. I'm about 50/50 on good experiences with car salespeople and dealerships. Some dealerships you have to go find a salesperson or stand on a showroom car to get someone's attention (Honda!). Mr. Karlinski was different. He was so good at explaining features, and helping me decide between a Forester and an Outback---had much patience with a buyer who did not know what they wanted. I was still rattled from a wreck that totaled my "11 Forester. I forgot to ask for my 50$ test drive incentive. I especially appreciated that he let me take the car to my house to show my wife, and let me test drive it on a curvy, pock-marked, pot-holed country road that we have to drive everyday. The quality of the ride compared to the 2011 was remarkable. We were sold. Mr. Karlinski was also good to us when we used the GEICO car pricing service that beat the sticker by thousands. I liked how he gave me a "going-out-the door" price of the car. It took away from the confusion of dealer add-ons, etc. The dealership has been renovated and has a painless service dept. They are very personable.

Once more, fantastic service
We are on our third Subaru and have worked with Earl Karlinsky every time. He has been very upfront and honest with us every time we worked with him and is a real pleasure to deal with. He has very good people skills and has done right by us all three times. Definitely recommend Earl and Ultimate Subaru.

2018 Subaru Outback 3.6R
I just bought a 2018 Outback 3.6R from Ultimate Subaru and my salesman was Earl Karlinsky. I have owned a Jaguar, Mercedes/SUV & Audi and i must say, the process of purchasing the Outback was the best! Earl's institutional knowledge sets him apart from the other sales staff. I was also impressed with how efficient and fast the financing process was. If you don't want a large SUV you should test drive the Outback. Driving the larger engine 3.6, it has the smooth acceleration of the Mercedes but the solidness of a Chevy Suburban - you get out of the car and look at it wondering, how that size vehicle rides like it does. I thought the 2.5 Outback was similar to other smaller engine cars as far as overall power, but i did't expect the 3.6R to ride like a true luxury vehicle.

2018 Subaru Outback
I just bought my second Subaru from Earl Karlinsky. I always hated going into a dealership when it was time to buy a new car. Earl has changed that. Best Sales Person
We recently bought a 2018 Outback and Earl Karlinsky was our sales person. We asked for Earl because he was our sales person for our new 2010 Outback. Earl is helpful, knowledgeable and patient. Unlike sales people we have encountered at other dealers Earl is never high-pressure or trying to sell us something we really don't need. He answers all our follow up phone calls with a friendly "how's it going". When we are ready for another new car we will again ask for Earl.

Best dealership!!
My husband bought me an Outback in 2015. It was the first Subaru we’ve ever owned. Our salesman was Earl Karlinsky Before going to the dealership, my husband did his research and was ready to start the buying process ( aka a lot of back & forth , then “checking with my manager to get you a better deal”, etc. To his relief and surprise, Earl asked what he expected to pay, what model he wanted, features etc. Within about 15 mins. the car was located and ordered. Earl assisted him thru all the paperwork, and submitted it. 2 weeks later we picked up our car! Not only was it painless, but we got to know a very nice, professional, man. We thank Earl each time we see him!!! So there was no hesitation when I went looking for a car for my husband. Straight to Earl!!! Again I knew what I wanted, and although this car was a little harder to find, Earl came through!!! Personalized assistance and endless patience
We worked with Craig Repanshek to buy our new Subaru Outback in December 2017. He was so patient with us- taking both of us on 10 mile test drives for two different cars. When we told him we were from DC he actually recommended the Forrester instead of the Outback, despite the fact that it is much lower priced. He seemed to care more about us getting a car that is the perfect fit than making a higher priced deal. He was extremely knowledgeable about all of the features and took his time explaining all of it to us. Because of timing issues we couldn't take the car off the lot and went to pick it up a few days later. Since we didn't have a car, Craig picked us up from the train station! We had a really great experience with Ultimate Subaru and are glad that we went out to Fredericksburg instead of shopping closer to DC.
