I wish I could say I had a great experience here, but

I wish I could say I had a great experience here, but unfortunately, that was not the case. I purchased a vehicle from Chris here in mid-August and I picked it up in early September. When I was asking about the vehicle, Chris assured me that all of their vehicles were heavily inspected and that this car ran well with no issues. On the way home, we had a problem with the check engine light re-appearing and as it turns out, the tires were so old, they were literally shedding rubber, so we had to get a brand new set of tires in Delaware. After getting the car, I noticed a lack of Air-Conditioning, which would have been nice to know prior to flying to New Jersey from Myrtle Beach and driving the car back in the hot summer sun. Upon getting back, we immediately replaced the compressor because as it turns out, the clutch was just missing, which any vehicle inspection worth someone's time would have revealed. Now I will note that Chris did help pay for part of the repair, which luckily for him, was cheaper than the average consumer thanks to me being a mechanic. When replacing the compressor, we noticed that the engine had an oil leak coming from the timing cover, which would also have been revealed in a vehicle inspection. Similarly, we found that most of the suspension components were pretty shot. And now, we have found that the vehicle is also experiencing transmission failure, specifically a failing torque convertor, which could have caused damage to the rest of the transmission. When looking at the vehicle on their listing, it said that a warranty was included, it was not. So we purchased an extended warranty after discussing the maximum payout and deductibles of the warranty. Chris had told us that the warranty had a deductible of $100 with a maximum payout of $4,000, so we paid the extra $600 for said warranty. Turns out, Chris lied. The warranty only has a maximum payout of $1500, which is not going to cover all of the problems this vehicle wasn't supposed to have. Communication was average, neither good nor bad. Overall, we are disappointed in our experience and expected better from someone who spoke so highly of this vehicle.

Amazing service. Chris and Anthony really made me feel comfortable with buying my vehicle. I will be buying a car here for my daughter soon. Definitely would recommend buying from here.

OK, so the good stuff first.

OK, so the good stuff first. The car (a Ralley Red Line Edition 2013 Dodge Challenger) I bought from these guys back a few weeks ago was 100% mechanically sounds, and sailed through my state's vehicle safety certification. And, for the most part, the car is great, in pictures and from a distance. The interior was in nearly new condition, too. Tires were in great shape, and even with 2 accidents in the 10 years (minor) everything worked. They also detailed the car professionally, before it came to me, and kept me in the loop as far as receiving my deposit, the wired funds, and telling me when The car was loaded on the transport. Now, upon arriving (in the rain) and unloading, and then drying out, the next day the exterior rubber trim looked pretty tired for a 10 year old car (the last owner had it in Florida for 6 years) and they didn't include the Dodge floor mats (probably because they weren't in great condition) that I believe were in the pictures they showed online. Not a big thing but..c'mon, guys, at least let the buyer make that decision!! I ALSO would have thought the 3 (yes, THREE) recalls would have been taken care of BEFORE they put it up for sale, but it wasn't a deal breaker, and I was okay buying it after I called the NHTSA and Dodge, just to make sure the car was legal and drive-able even without the recalls being immediately fixed. Again, I knew about the recalls and they did send me the complete CarFax at no charge. On the other hand, I feel they should have divulged that the car came with only ONE (not the customary TWO) remotes. Oh, well, lesson learned on that one! One week into ownership the check engine light came on (it was a $350 repair to fix the engine coolant temperature sensor) and I had to replace the key fob battery remote. There was also a nasty (but not deep) gouge/dent/set of scratches on the left side of the front bumper (which my wife IMMEDIATELY NOTICED, again, AFTER we got the car off the transport and into our garage)....and this was NOT a new scratch. I'm sure most of this can be filled and buffed, but if not, I'm glad I got them to knock another $500 off the revised listing price, which was too high to begin with. A SECOND check engine light (O2 Sensor) was triggered on 9/11/23. Did my luck buying cars online run out? As an aside, at the time, there was one other Ralley Red Line edition for sale online within a 500 mile radius w/ Black exterior w/Red Race Stripes, and classic red leather seats and /brake cover accents, so they are not common, but I didn't want to drive 5 hours to West Virginia and then back if I didn't like the car, and dealing with the paperwork is a hassle so I went with the dealership option. The other Ralley Red Line in Virginia Beach had black leather seats, and I didn't want black leather. I probably, in retrospect, should have asked for a complete video walk-around, and after this last experience (I have bought several other cars online with mainly positive experiences) I'll probably not do any more car buying from afar and will only buy from someone I know, personally, if I do buy sight unseen, or from someone who knows someone, or from (as a last resort) a dealership where I can actually see the car in person and that will offer at least a basic dealer warranty and not offer cars "as is". They weren't terrible people, but like all used car places, the cars are, well, used, and in some cases, I'm sure there are a few of them that were abused. My car wasn't what I would call, abused, to be clear, and it IS, even after the initial hassles, a blast to drive and be seen in, but their lack of attention to the small stuff (like making sure the key fobs ALL have new batteries, or..IN THIS DAY OF 2 KEY FOBS PER CAR, TELLING THE CUSTOMER THERE"S ONLY ONE KEY FOB, or, like not fixing the xxxx recalls BEFORE the car is put up for sale, or, not getting rid of minor surface scratches professionally, forces me to give Chris and Alex, and Urban Motors, 3 stars.
