Awful.

Awful. They had our car 3 weeks and still didn’t resolve the issue. It was an air conditioning issue. They told me it was fixed took the car for a drive the air stopped working. Took it back to the dealership and “they fixed it after a week” Nope started the car and it was blowing hot air. The woman helping suggested I leave it there for the mechanic to look at it again. Fast forward two weeks later. Called them and they still didn’t have it fixed. My husband called before the weekend and told them we just want our vehicle back. She said the one mechanic that has been working on it won’t be back for 5 more days. We were all PAID up on the bill. Paid it with no problem. My husband said it’s been almost a month and your dealership still hasn’t been able to figure out the problem. I just want the car back on Sunday as long as it’s not pulled apart etc. We didn’t care if the air conditioning was fixed we just wanted our car back in the same condition we left it in. NOPE. They had the middle counsel and the glove box stripped and in the back seat. Air still not working 900 plus dollars later.

Horrible experience with the service department.

Horrible experience with the service department. Went in for tire issues as well as state inspection & oil change. Asked about price upfront to be prepared- was okay with everything. When they were done, I asked about my tires and the service assistant looked at me and you did t want the tires checked!!! After we discussed it when I got there as well as it was on my appointment notes I received in an email!!! UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!! Will not be back unless only option!!

Terrible customer service from their service department.

Terrible customer service from their service department. The technicians may be great but the advisor and manager I dealt with were atrocious. I booked an appointment on THEIR website for 11:30 am, showed up at 11:20 am and was promptly told to come back at 1:00 pm because inspections take 45 minutes and the techs are going to lunch at noon. When asked why the website allowed me to book it, the advisor told me they should have caught it and called me but the software also needed to be changed to prevent it. She also told me they had been asking for that change but the manager hadn’t done it yet. I could go on as the appointment went downhill from there but you get the point. I’d only bring my vehicle back to them if I wanted a migraine!

Deplorable treatment!

Deplorable treatment! I spoke with a Smart Ford salesman at length about one specific used vehicle and agreed to take the hour and a half drive from my home to meet with him the following day. I assured his colleague (WHO CALLED ME THE FOLLOWING AM TO VERIFY) that I'm still coming later as planned. I took the long drive after a hard day of work and showed up on time WITH FULL PAYMENT just to learn that the vehicle sold hours earlier and that the salesman was home for the day. 2 individuals gave me "oh well, nothing we can do." It wasn't until a 3rd person that I got so much as an apology before leaving empty handed. No establishment that conducts business this way should be patronized by anyone with common decency.

Sales and service managers treated us like we were just a

Sales and service managers treated us like we were just a paycheck 30000 dollar used car we have owned for four days check engine light on first day along with flat tire car was never had a PDI we were told that it was our problem we were told it's a used car and they do not stand behind it. This is the 6 car we have bought there and will be the last. The people that used to run it were great but the new ones could care less.

Had a great experience with Smart Ford South Boston.

Had a great experience with Smart Ford South Boston. I live 100 miles away and asked if they would stay open late for me to come check out a vehicle I was interested in. They happily agreed to stay 2 hours later than operating hours and LeRoy and Tom were a pleasure to make a deal with. Would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle.
