Do not buy a car from this dealership

Do not buy a car from this dealership. Dishonest practices. I negotiated a final price for the car with a navigation update, tax and licensing then I get to the point where I am signing the contract and WHAM! $500 dollars in extras that I did not ask for nor was informed about up front (nitrogen air in tires, some sort of car coating and a braking system add-on). LOOK closely at the contract before you sign it! I don't want these items but it's too late because it's already been applied to the car. Why wasn't I told this earlier? Because, they want you to get far into the process and hope you just relent because you're excited about the car and you don't want to back out. The salesperson and the manager did nothing to remedy their screw-up. I got up and left and had to break the news to my daughter who was sitting in the car thinking it was going to be hers. I will obviously shop elsewhere and so should you.

Mazda speed service

Wants you to do extra services the car does not need. This is the second time that they have tried this. First time last year wanted me to change coolant and brake fluid. Car was 4 years old and had 37,00 miles on ti. Coolant is car is FL-22 and does not need changing for some 10 years and 120,000 miles by the manual. Brake fluid checked by another garage 6 months later and I was told it was fine. This year was automatic transmission fluid. To bad the Mazda speed only came in a manual version. Once again the brake fluid flush which the manual only suggest topping up and also the power steering fluid. Never did on my prior Mazda which I had for 11 years, so I have my doubts given all the rest. Only went because of a replacement recall item and will never go again!!!.

Scheduled Service

Went in for an oil and filter change. It took about 30 minutes. Great efficiency.

Mazda 3 Purchase and Service

I had a great buying experience w Capital Mazda of Cary. That experience has carried through to the service as well.

Don't buy the warranty

Save your money DO not buy the pre owned vehicle warranty. The service center does everything they can to discourage you from using it and I was even approached by the manager before they even looked at my car for just for mentioning it. He wanted me to say I would agree to pay a diagnostic charge if my problem wasn't covered. I thought it was odd to be approached like that when I had just walked in the door and gave them my key and my warrenty card. I knew I would at least have to pay the 100 dollar deductable for the service so why would I not be okay with a 120 dollar charge. I have come in a couple of times before for service and I had always been shown to the seating area and offered coffee while I waited.That day when I checked in I was told they didn't want me to wait while they looked at it even though I had made an appointment. Why would I take the time to make an appointment just to drop off my car. I don't need you to keep my car all day for a diagnostic. Then they tell me they don't know how long it will take if I chose to wait for them to look at my car. Again I've made an appointment 4 days in advance so they should have scheduled for someone to look into the problem that I was asked to explain when I called in to make the appointment. While I was waiting they had plenty of people available to crawl around my car and come to tell me all the things "wrong" that need attention right away. Air and cabin filters needing to be changed are a" very serious matter "and also cost around 300 bucks but still no word on my actual problem. After waiting almost 3 hours someone finally comes to tell me yes your problem is covered under your warranty but now they don't have the parts to fix it. I left with the assurance that it would only take a couple of days for the parts to come in. Well 6 days later I decided to call after not hearing from anyone. Low and behold the part just came in that afternoon and they where about to call me lol. Then they didn't even want to make the appointment to fix my car on the day that was convenient for me because the person who wasn't even the one to actually help me on my first visit was scheduled off on that day. I have continually felt dismissed during this whole ordeal and I fell like they don't even want to be bothered with fixing my car. Well after my appointment on Monday I will not be bringing my car back to Capital Mazda for any kind of service warranty or not.

THE SERVICE WRITER AND PARTS PERSONEL WERE VERY HELPFUL IN EXPLAING THE NEED FOR THE SERVICE TO MY DAUGHER WHO HAS JUST STARTED DRIVING AND ALSO LET US KNOW THTA THERE WAS ON OPEN RECALL ON HER VEHICLE.

Routine Service Mazda 3

I purchased my 2010 Mazda 3 from Capital Lincoln Mazda brand new and would do it again in a heartbeat! Lucia and the Service Department are what keep me returning! After years of managing company fleet and personal 'fleet' I have never come across a service department with such integrity! Especially being female, I have always felt their recommendations were sincere and have never felt the 'up-charges' some dealers and service stations take advantage of. Thank you for reinforcing good old fashioned honesty!
