Poor service

Dropped my vehicle off Monday 4/11 for a pre schedule appointment for LOF, Rotate tires, and asked to have the tech investigate a “buzzing” in n the dash. Vehicle wasn’t ready Monday evening Tuesday I got a call that they had 4 hours into my vehicle and it wasn’t ready for pick up Tuesday. I got a text Wednesday morning that the vehicle needed to be test driven. I got another text that said my vehicle was ready. The buzzing was corrected but, No lube oil or filter No tire rotation I gave up 2 days of work for someone to work for 4 hours on my vehicle.

They employed Jackie Brucia . . .

These are the same people who are employed the woman who fired Debbie who donated a kidney to save her bosses life . . . Of course you should buy a car from these people they’re ruthless and just want to take you for everything you have

Don’t care about their customers

This company obviously does not care about it’s customers. Yesterday I saw on their website that they have a “quick lane” for fast oil changes without an appointment so today I drove 30 minutes to get my oil changed. I walked in the service door which is flanked on both sides by signs advertising the “quick lane” service. Wynn who seemed nice enough ask me what I needed so I said I was there for the “quick lane” oil change. He said “we don’t have a quick lane”, I said it says you do on your website. He responded with they have tried to remove it but have not been able too. But I’m sure they can add and delete cars everyday. So I said how about the big signs on the building promoting “quick lane”, he said the owner doesn’t want to take them down. Why in heavens not, does he intentionally want to upset and lose customers because that is what happened today. I will gladly drive to Vineland. Our lease is up in August and while my Jeep was getting the oil changed I was going to start looking for our next Jeep. I can guarantee you one thing, it will not be coming from this Joke of a business. Sadly I have to give them 1 star because 0 is not an option. Shame on you Atlantic Auto Group!!!

Kicked when you're down

While changing the battery in my Volkswagen one night, I let a tool slip out of my hand and sparks went flying. The fans suddenly started running at high speed while everything else went lifeless. I knew right away something serious had been damaged. This was the worst possible night for this to happen. I was already late to take my son to get his first suit, needed to attend my mother-in-law’s funeral. My mind, my schedule and my wallet were already stretched thin. I tow the car to Atlantic, fearful they will take advantage of this situation, and milk my repair invoice for every last dollar. I make contact with Steve, and opt to pour my heart out about life and funerals, using terms like “very thin thread”. That day, I get a voicemail from Tom, my service writer, telling me the first hour of diagnostic time is $135/hr, and that he hopes to get some answers for me in that time. Two weeks, and $350 later, Tom calls again to tell me my computer is fried, with a total repair bill of $2000. Shocked at the price of $350 to simply diagnose the car, I refer back to the message Tom left indicating I was going to get a call after the first hour with some sort of a report. He replied with a short technical report, concluding with, “We’ve got some hours into this car.”, never acknowledging the missed call. I paid my diagnostic bill, and had my Volkswagen towed to the Burke Motor Group in Cape May Courthouse. Today, I picked up my car. Total cost of repairs = $1058.20 Did I save $600 because Burke is just that good or is Atlantic just that bad? I’ll vote for both. I dropped a tool, in the dark, in the cold, in a rush to get to the suit store before it closed. It was a simple but costly mistake. But when a guy calls Atlantic and says…kids are depressed…wife is a train wreck…paying for a funeral…I’m stretched thin, but is all the while saying, “Please don’t become a transaction I have to survive”, and the best they can do is slap me with three hours of diagnostics and a repair bill that can be undersold by hundreds of dollars, I can only conclude this is way it is all of the time at Atlantic. If was there ever, a pure, unannounced test of Atlantic’s service capabilities, this was it. Call it dishonest, or maybe simply say they’re not competitive. Either way, they’re not a place to expect quality service at a good price. If not for AAA and the Burke Motor Group, I would be drowning in tequila by now. PS – I’m not willing to discuss the situation. Write whatever you need to preserve your image here. I don’t care. I will dust off my Huffy before I place myself in a position to depend on your dealership in any way.

horrible experience with this dealership!

This place is a disaster! Do not go here to purchase a car! We waited three hours getting toyed around! I called in advance to see if they had the car there, they said yes. Turns out it was not there but an hour away. It took 2 hours to get the car here and it STILL wasn’t the right car! They tried switch and baiting us. Then brought a downgrade car over from 5 min away and said it had 37,000 miles and it turned out to have 48,000 miles. This place is a xxxx show and it’s not worth the headache and stress getting your vehicle from here. They don’t give deals on pricing and they were rude to us when we left pissed off. ZERO STARS!

Fraud at Atlantic Jeep in Egg Harbor Township, NJ

WARNING: Do not buy or lease a car from Atlantic Jeep Chrysler Fiat on Tilton Road in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. They are a den of thieves. I traded in a leased GM vehicle with excess miles and a deal was formulated to take those excess mile charges and wrap them into the payment of my new Jeep. The salesperson called GM to get the pay off, had his team inspect my GM to gauge its great condition and the deal was made including them eating the excess mileage charge. I left the dealership with my new Jeep as they took in my GM in as trade. About two weeks later I received a letter from GM stating that I owe $3,000 on excess miles. Atlantic Chrysler Jeep Fiat defrauded me and in fact did not technically take my GM as trade, they simply gave the car back to GM knowing I would be charged that excess mileage money. I have heard that car dealers who are on the verge of bankruptcy do this to stay in the game as long as possible and eventually get jail time.

Disorganization at its finest!

Reached out to them about a Jeep on their website, was told they had it in stock and made appointment to make the 1 hr ride. Get there and they have no information and the vehicle I had confirmed was there had not been there in weeks. Looked at another model but it just was not what I wanted payment wise or color. Get home that night and get call that they found the one I wanted (color) and they can do terms I wanted, set meeting for following day. Called to have window sticker sent and confirm terms and am told it’s for a white one, not what I had asked for. So they were going to have me drive 1 hr again for the wrong car. Lack of organization and communication is amazing to me. Asked to speak with senior leadership which never called. Horrible experience.
