Horrifying experience never been so humiliated in my life, The salesman said to me after a discrepancy We don’t want your type here???? First thing in the morning, I am calling the main state Attorney General along with my own private lawyer. I refuse to be treated like this!

Do NOT buy from here!!!!!!!

My 2021 Seltos broke down had to get it towed to service center and they cannot get it in for 2 months refuse to give me a loaner until they do a diagnostic which is going to take a week because they are short staffed not sure how this is my problem? Told me I can rent a car from them for $38 dollars a day, my Seltos only has 42,000 miles so it’s still under warranty had all maintenance done had to go elsewhere to get the maintenance completed because it takes over a month to get in. I guess they have so many lemons to fix, so it’s not an outside source. I was told when I bought it they would take care of me no matter what. Has not happened yet, perhaps this is why they are so short staffed?? Do they know about Maines lemon law?

Horrible experience

I went to buy a Nissan Murano. Dealers near me were offering deep discounts and a friend saw a flier advertising other cars at discount at Charlies. I called to see if they were offering a discount on the Murano as well. I was told come on up, we can make a deal. I went. They test drove my car as I test drove the Murano. When it came to deal, there was no deal and the offer on my car was pitiful. It was an easy decision to make to walk. But when I walked outside to get in my car, it was nowhere to be found. I went back in to ask where it was parked and was given a point out to the back of the parking lot. parked all by itself. It was the penalty I paid for not completing the deal but it is their penalty that I write this review and will continue to let my friends know to NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH CHARLIES.

Service dept went above and beyond

My husband and I were making a 15-hour-drive from Ohio to Acadia National Park in Maine. Just two hours from our destination, the transfer case on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler exploded, leaving us stranded on the highway in Augusta. Our vehicle was towed to the nearest Jeep dealership, Charlie’s Motor Mall. We were shaken up, stressed about getting to our vacation, and unsure when the Jeep could be repaired. The team at Charlie’s worked quickly to get us in a rental, even moving luggage and supplies for us from our Jeep into the rental! We were back on the road in no time. Over the next few days, Charlie’s worked closely with our insurance company to expedite the repairs, keeping us informed at every turn. Not only did they fix our Jeep in record time, they also addressed an unrelated warranty issue which offered us the rental vehicle at no charge! Thanks to Cory, Heidi, Steve and the gang, we were able to relax and enjoy our vacation. Turns out Maine is a beautiful state… and home to a lot of great people.

I have bought many cars from Charlie and that is why I was surprised by their attitude when I returned a leased car. Three months after I returned it I was billed over 1,000 . Part was no credit for payments made, part was unreasonable expectations about normal wear of a three year old car. I asked the financial person (Troy) for help in dealing with the errors made by Toyota Financial. He was rude and said Charlie's had nothing to do with it. I got th message loud and clear--Once you buy your car from them you are on your own. I've bought my last from them.

Awesome service

Honestly the best service I could've asked for, Jaime was great, he went above and beyond to find a bank that would help me in my unique situation and put me in a New car that was just perfect. I'll definetly be back in the future.

Exceeded my expectations!

I went to Charlie's because of a outstanding recommendation from someone who has bought all of their vehicle from there. I wasn't planning on driving away in a 2019 Jeep Compass but the service and price could not be beat! Jaime was incredible helpful and allowed me to test drive a number of vehicles before I found the perfect fit. He did everything he could to make sure I had everything I needed for the price I wanted. I can't say enough good things about this experience. I will be a member of the Charlie's family for a LONG time to come!
