Fell Bamboozled

My fiancé brought his car (2005 VW Passat WGN TDI) in after purchasing it from a private seller to set up repairs that it needed. We spoke to guy named Jason Swift who assured him (I was well informed of the process and communications between Mr. Swift and Mr. Webb (My Fiancé)) that he "...would take care it for him." After the initial assessment we were given the statement. The negotiations were to fix everything but a CV joint, totaling about $2000. Long story short- $2000 and the car still has no power (CV joint is not an implication of this problem.) After all that, we were told to find and buy a transmission control module, and they were to replace it. My fiancé, was charged for a State Inspection, wind shield wipers were not replaced and still have rubber showing the wear. Oil wasn't changed, as charged, still a few quarts short.... $2000 we were told would take care of it. Friendly Liars clearly out to swindle anyone while using a smile. It gets better... My experience there at the Pantops location wasn't better. Mr Swift argued immediately that for the amount of $2000 we could find a lesser expensive vehicle to maintain, and not once did we question the costs. As a Caucasian transgender female with a African American Fiancé I do believe at this time we were targeted in discrimination and profiling. I felt very uncomfortable in the waiting center as guys did indeed laugh as I entered and waited humbly with my guy. The employees here are mean with malicious intent to segregate, profile, and discriminate against other humans.. My perception is that Flow VW in Charlottesville Virginia doesn't want to work on VW if you're LGBT and not whi...... Charlottesville allows this? A sanctuary city. My Birth Place.

Best Staff and Dealership EVER

From initial conversations to taking delivery of the car, Flow Volkswagen of Charlottesville (and more specifically Danny and Shaun) were in instrumental in my car buying experience. I cannot say enough about the staff and quality of the Jetta Sportwagen TDI I purchased. We had a unique situation due to my wife being pregnant and they accommodated our needs to the fullest! Couldn't be happier! Thank you Danny, Shaun, and Flow Volkswagen!!

Satisfied Customer

Trading in two cars today and driving home a beautiful A4 tonight, was a tall order. Thanks to Amonte Harvey, our Sales Consultant, who was professional, courteous and very patient, and his colleagues at FLOW the transactions went smoothly.

Very Positive Experience

The sales associate, Blake, made the process easy, and while buying a car is never enjoyable, relatively painless. Flow's approach to selling cars seems to be to allow knowledgeable sales associates guide you through a no-pressure process. Highly recommend them.

Go with the Flow

Purchased our second car from them because the whole experience of our first purchase was great. No stress and easy. This week I got a problem light, took the car directly to Flow, and was immediately taken care of. They are the best in central Virginia.

Whip-Smart, Super Friendly People

For several years, Flow C'ville have maintained my GTI. Their service team are incredible. When my battery went flat, someone from their dealership came out and started my car. Wowza. But it's only lately that I've been chatting with their sales team - the wonderful Timothy and Ryan. These gents are INCREDIBLE. They are both fountains of knowledge about VW cars. Incredibly friendly. And they're also good psychologists - and listeners - when it comes to helping you to figure out what to buy. They're also fun to talk to. They care about people. And they care about getting you on the road in something that, ideally, will be both practical and something to love. Should you be interested in buying a VW, I RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP. *High-Five* And I recommend both Timothy and Ryan. Another great feature of this dealership...Timothy and Ryan encourage you to experience a proper test-drive that includes hills, twisty roads, and the Interstate. In sum: top dealership with a top team.
