Things are never as they seem

After informing them I was driving quite a distance to look at one of their vehicles, I got there and they still hadn't put it through the shop, though they claimed to have had it on the lot for over 2 weeks. They wouldn't even let me test drive the vehicle more than a quick little turn around the parking lot, and couldn't answer ANY of the questions I had about the vehicle (4 wheel disk brakes? 1 owner?). Still it was a nice looking car and I was still considering buying it, until we got inside and discussed numbers. Though their car was listed at a very good price, they expected that my trade value would also be much lower to even things out. That's not a good deal, that is a hook to get people to the dealership and ultimately waste their time. Since I was offered less than half of what my vehicle was worth in trade, they came nowhere close to the payment range I was looking for. They just waste your time and won't work with you. Beware, or just shop elsewhere.

3rd Explorer!!! Sales and Service

I just bought my 3rd Explorer from Hillsboro Ford. I check online and even thought I look elsewhere first it seems they always have the best price and I actually enjoy working with the folks there. I have also brought all my vehicles there for service too, and I can't say I have had any issues. Always consistent. Thanks Hillsboro Ford and see you for #4.... in a while though.

good for buying a new car, never have service done

Purchased new car for my wife, very pleased with price, sales and overall process. Because of the way we were treated I decided to bring my truck in for inspection. I was told I needed new tires, the tires had good tread but were old and had very slow leaks. I was told they "were leaking from the sidewalls." A few weeks after I replaced the tires one tire was completely flat, another was 1/2 flat. I went back to service, replaced 2 valve stems. I asked "why replace only 2"? "Because they were all replaced when the new tires were installed". What are the odds of that? I felt that the slow leaks were from the valve stems and not as I was told ! I was quite upset and called the GM. The service Mgr. called and stuck with same story. "There was no charge, why was I upset ? Several weeks went by and 2 more tires were losing air, 1 @ 10 lbs. the other @ 20 lbs. TWO MORE VALVE STEMS. They acted like they were doing me a favor, no apology? I said I had been lied to enough and would never do business with them again. By the way, my wife recommended her cousin , who purchased a new car.

Hillsboro Ford, NH = FANTASTIC

Super friendly and straightforward on the phone. I thought the price, 1K better than the next best price on a FOCUS, was a mistake. Not so. Did everything they could to help me register in my home state by mail. If you need a Ford, don't pass them by. I drove 150 miles to buy my car and you should too. Harry
