This was the worst experience/interaction that I’ve ever
This was the worst experience/interaction that I’ve ever had at ANY dealership, and I have dealt with many. My husband found a specific color Mach-e with specifications he wanted at this dealership. He worked with a salesperson over the phone and through email the day prior to us arriving because we live 4+ hours away from lakeview ford/battle creek. We were assured that everything was ironed out, there were already X amount of rebates on the car and we had another personal mailer that we were told could be added to bring the price down further. We were told there is always room for negotiation, and that everything was good to go. Credit was run before we arrived, it should have been fairly straight forward, just going over last minute details and signing papers. We got there and that was not the scenario that was presented at all. After driving all that way with children, we were sat down while the sales person left us multiple times to go ask his sales manager or the finance person questions- which totaled 1.5 hours. At no point were we asked if we wanted a drink, a snack, anything to make the wait more manageable (which might sound petty, but I have NEVER been to a dealership, especially not Ford, where I wasn’t asked if we wanted something to drink while we waited). It wasn’t until just before the finance guy wanted to pull us into his office that he asked if our kids wanted something to drink. By this time we had been there for almost 2 hours. He proceeded to bring us into his office, rushing my husband through signing papers for a car that we haven’t even been told the payment information for yet. He talked to my husband as though I wasn’t even there. At this point I made it very clear how uncomfortable I was with the tactics being used. He was being incredibly pushy and condescending. “Well, this is to save time. I’m going over it with you now and you’re signing it so it doesn’t have to be done later. Just sign it, we’re getting to that.” okay, but I don’t even know the specifics or cost of this vehicle yet, and you’re trying to rush him through signing things that I’ve made it clear I’m not comfortable with? At this point he started talking to me like a child who was interrupting an adult conversation. He finally pulled out a paper that had protection plans and pricing on it which showed numbers that we never would have agreed to drive down there for. And when he was told that those prices were not something we were interested in and that our maximum budget for a vehicle was at least $25 less/month (really- closer to $50) than the lowest figure he looked at me and said “it’s just $25… that a $6 cup of coffee per week. That’s not a big deal. It’s $6/week, are you following?” In what world do I as an adult woman, or my husband who is an adult man need this guy to mansplain how budgeting works or how I should work out my personal finances that he has no idea about. We have children, a mortgage, all of the bills that come along with those things, my vehicle and insurance to cover them. My husband was t-boned a week ago which totaled his car and now we are trying to figure out how to get another one, to be told that “just figure it out and budget better, $25/month over your absolute maximum shouldn’t be such a big deal” by some scummy guy who talked over us the entire time and acted like we were too stupid to understand simple logic. For reference, I have a 4+ year degree. I’m a Registered Nurse and work with the public. I have worked in customer service and customer relations. This is not how you talk to or treat people that you are supposed to be providing a service to. I have never felt so disrespected and condescended by someone who was trying to pressure me into buying something from them in my entire life. Absolutely disgraceful. Complete waste of time, money, energy. We bought a vehicle elsewhere later that day.

No issues with the Sales people.
No issues with the Sales people. Very knowledgeable about their vehicles and provided a smooth buying process. I purchased a 2024 Bronco Sport. 7 months after the purchase, and less than 6000 miles, the right side turn signal starts blinking at a fast rate. I call Service to schedule an appointment to get this fixed. I ask about availability of a loaner vehicle while my vehicle is being repaired. I was told that no vehicle was available, and they didn’t know when one would be available. Translation is ‘screw you.’ I asked them if they expected me to believe that they let someone take their vehicle and did not know when it would be returned. Answer, screw you. My wife, with much more patience than I have, took over from this point. It took 2 visits and 5 hours for these morons to replace a turn signal bulb. Never offered any assistance for the inconvenience. If Lakeview offers you the best purchase price, go for it. Plan on finding another dealership for any service needs, or be willing to accept terrible customer service and total lack of focus on customer satisfaction.

Bought a mustang mach-e from Susie and love it!
Bought a mustang mach-e from Susie and love it! She was very knowledgeable and helpful with my decision to buy an all battery operated vehicle for the first time. This is the second vehicle I purchased from Susie at Lakeview ford, and I will most certainly return when I renew my lease. They are a great group of people there!!

The sales staff were friendly and did everything right
The sales staff were friendly and did everything right when it came to closing it was a very unpleasant experience . The person who processed the paperwork started telling us everything that can go wrong with this beautiful vehicle belittling the Lincoln name which I highly respect he was pushing to sell us extended warranties starting at 2500 dollars. He told us there is nothing better and that I had to make a decision right now. Of course that made me just want to get away from him figuring that it must be a very large commission for him. So when we got home with the car my wife is questioning if this is a good vehicle what’s going to break. We have had much discussion of what to do and after I thought about it I decided to put tit in the hands of the dealer. So I sent them my complaints and at this point they asked me to provide a review which I am, happy to provide. I have no idea if or when they will tell me something to make me feel better. I believe this a good dealer with a bad employee/. At least I hope they didnt train him to torment buyers.

Sales guy seemed like a nice guy.
Sales guy seemed like a nice guy. Had a whole story to tell us how the vehicle we were looking at only had one owner and that he took real good care of his vehicles. We decided to purchase said vehicle. A year and a half later (Jan. 24) we go back to this dealership to look at another vehicle. Plan was to trade the vehicle in that we purchased the year and a half before. The dealership was only willing to give us half of what we paid for the first vehicle we purchased so my husband and I decided to forget getting another vehicle at Lakeview Ford. We ended up calling another dealership about the first vehicle we bought (to see about trading it at that dealership) only to find out the vehicle had three previous owners and had been in a wreck. Not what we were told by Lakeview Ford. Also, the most recent vehicle we had looked at, at Lakeview Ford had also been in a wreck. Not one word of this was mentioned by the shady sales guy. Integrity goes a long way and makes for repeat customers. However, I will NEVER refer this car dealership to anyone and I won’t be back!

We had the pleasure of working with Lania Fernatt.
We had the pleasure of working with Lania Fernatt. This young lady came out of the office to stop my husband and I as we were doing a drive through of the used car parking lot. It was cold, there was snow everywhere. The weather didn't stop Lania. She asked us if we were looking for anything specific and we said no. She told us that on the lot they had a 2020 Ford Fusion that only had 8700 (+/-) miles on it. That stopped us from just driving through the lot. We decided to get out and test drive the car. What could it hurt? So, we took the car for a drive, stopped at the local mall and got out to inspect the car. Did we like the car, it is ok, but we liked the low miles. I had been looking at Honda's. I own a Honda and she has 230k miles on her and is still running good. I just didn't want her to die and have to rush into having to buy a car. Mind you, I haven't had a car payment in over 25 years. Lania sat with me through the whole process of purchasing our car. When she would leave the lounge due to business, she would come back and ask if I was doing ok. She repeatedly asked me if she could do anything for me, if she could get me water or ask if I needed a snack. We ended up discussing the books we have read and are reading. It was a pure pleasure working with this young lady. I want Lakeview Ford to know what a treasure they have working for them.

I just purchased a great used Ford F150 Lariet and Chris Crenshaw was absolutely great to work with. He addressed all my concerns and called to follow up with how the truck was doing and if I had any questions after having it for a few days. I would recommend seeing Chris when shopping for a vehicle.
