I was purchasing a used vehicle and was going to put 6000
I was purchasing a used vehicle and was going to put 6000 down on a 13800 fusion. My sales guy goes to get me financed and came back with a crazy payment number . I went to see how the numbers were so high. So Tim the manager says he got me a loan at 16 percent and the car went up 2000 dollars cause the bank charged him that much to get the loan for me and he wasn’t going to pay it. Unbelievable. I would’ve bought that car.

STAY AWAY.
STAY AWAY. I went to look at the Kona, a subcompact SUV. Online, the lease simulator was $293/month for 36 months. Another local dealer quoted me $385/mo for 36 months w/ 12k miles a year. Jeff Wyler Hyundai: 1) insisted they couldn't give me a price at all unless I ran my credit (I told them my score for modeling purposes) before relenting. 2) quoted $589/month for exact same car with same MSRP except different color. 3) had added $6,600 in add-ons I didn't ask for, agree to, or bother to discuss with me 4) after taking it all off, and two more rounds of negotiations, said they could do $400/month but for a car without features that were included in the one I drove/the one at the other dealer. 5) repeatedly asked me to "initial" hand-scrawled calculations to "show I was comfortable with that deal" without explaining what that would mean or what I was agreeing to, if anything (I didn't initial). Please stay away from this place & go to Columbia Hyundai if you're in the Cincinnati area. If you are uncomfortable negotiating, DEFINITELY stay away.

I would avoid this brand absolutely.
I would avoid this brand absolutely. Let this serve as a warning to all hyundai owners and prospective buyers. This company does not support their customers or their products. My 2018 Sonata's engine failed on July 15, 2022 after two years of back and forth with my dealership (elgin hyundai) . After Elgin Hyundai falsified reports to hyundai national passing my engine through an oil consumption test when it should have failed. I then took my car to a new dealership who had to redo all past tests. Their directive was drive the car until it fails. Hyundai won't do anything until then!. The service advisor stated when it fails towe it to the nearest location and hyundai will take it from there. It just so happened to fail in Cincinnati, Ohio. 6 hours from my home in Illinois. The closest dealership was Jeff Wyler, superior hyundai and this is where my car has sat since July, 15th and it is now 11/18. After my car broke down It took over a month for hyundai to return my call. Jeff wyler refused to return my call or hyundai national calls. To this point after two months I rented a car and drove the 6 hours to Jeff wyler. At that point in time upon arriving to the dealership the service advisor stated it would take 6-16 months for them to evaluate my vehicle. I cleaned out my car and did what hyundai national advised me of ....wait! However while at jeff wyler i did speak to their sales manager Tim about a possilbe buy out. Tim advised me that they would not be able to purchase my car unil its completely fixxed. Again, months went by and Jeff wyler again is not returning my or hyundai's calls and out of the blue on 11/17 I receive a call from the service department at Jeff wyler stating my car is ready for pick up and there was never anything wrong with it and to remove it from their lot. After a few calls with the service department and sales office I received a multitude of different stories of what tests my car went through and what was done to determine it was tip top. I then immediately called Tim in sales and advised his service department stated my car was fine and that they drove it and I could come pick it up, I inquired what his offer would be. We came to a number that would pay off the remainder of my loan. However Tim stated he would have to drive it and confirm it's condition and drive ability. Which seemed odd to me as the service department just told me it was safe enough to drive back to Illinois and that there was nothing wrong with it. I questioned this and was told I would receive a call back, which I didn't. I then drove the 6 hours again to Cincinnati the next morning only to find out jeff wyler lost my keys with in the 24 hours they told me to come get it and when I arrived at the dealership at 1pm on 11/18. I was assured they would find it or they would at least be able to program a new fob and we were told to wait. After 2 hours we were informed they would have to order a fob and we would need to handle this at a later time. They gave me the expectation of the receipt of the new fob the following Monday 11-21. It is now 12-07 and I have yet to hear anything. They have not returned my multiple emails and calls regarding my car. I am at a loss with this and filed a formal complaint with the Ohio attorney generals office.

DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING!!!
DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING!!! Price shown on their website does not reflect what this dealer actually charges for a vehicle. I went in to test drive a used 2020 Sonata that showed a very competitive price on Wyler's website. We got there and there was an immediate red flag since there was a sticker on the window showing several dealer add-ons not mentioned on the website. So, I specifically asked the salesman for their bottom-line price including all fees and taxes. He said they go off the website advertised price plus state tax and (what I considered reasonable) dealer fees. He then went off to run a credit check which seemed to take an inordinate amount of time. When he finally returned, he informed me that were items the dealer had added plus an ~$1000 charge to get it certified. All told, this added over $2000 to the website listed price. Again, there was no mention of these add-ons on the website, but it did advertise the car as dealer certified. So why wasn't that at the very least already in the price shown? I'll give the salesman the benefit of the doubt and just assume he was incompetent when he answered my bottom-line inquiry. But clearly this dealership uses deceptive advertising and I will NEVER go there again.

FTCA Violations
Tried to buy 2 cars today. The Jeff Wyler monthly payment calculator showed $270/month each on two idential cars. They came back with a number 120% over their advetised price after putting 5k down. When you get on the lot they tell you they are charging an extra 12% over MSRP and their advertised price because used cars are selling higher. Their best price was still 26% over advertised price. AUTO DEALER FRAUD; 1. Inflating the total purchase price above the invoice or sticker price, such as by concealing options the consumer did not request, or by including other unapproved and undisclosed fees; 2. Advertising a vehicle for a certain price and then telling consumers that the advertised deal is no longer available and attempting to sell them the same vehicle at a higher price, often known as a “bait and switch” scheme. These are top down policies Jeff Wyler might want to check out FTCA. I will say the sales guy was really nice and its obvious he wasn't part of the fraud. I have bought all my cars and trucks from the Jeff Wyler group but never again today was just insulting. If the brand wont let you advertise anythng but MSRP then don't commit fraud by prettending those are your prices.

Contact is key between dealer and customer
Right now, i am posting a temporary review. I bought a Hyundai a couple of weeks ago. Almost left because the price on the car at the dealership was approximately $4,000 more than advertised online. I drove over 2 hours There was no mark up online…have the screen shots to prove it. Ended up trading in my vehicle and bought the Hyundai. After i got home i noticed that there were errors in the paperwork. Have attempted to get that rectified and yet, can never get a hold of finance and i get the runaround from the salesperson (i actually thought he did a good job but his giving me the runaround is not appreciated). I have kept on top of trying to get my concerns addressed but either no one returns my call/messages or does not get back to me when i was told someone would. The only person that has actually returned my message has been Sam. Apparently no one else seems to forget the art of keeping the customer updated as requested. I was told by Sam that the appropriate parties should be able to address my concerns “shortly.” We will see. I have a much longer review being prepared in case i still get the runaround. It will be much more detailed and will address all of my concerns. At this point, i cannot, in good conscience recommend this dealership.

Very poor service center.
Very poor service center. I scheduled an appointment for a recall and regular maintenance service. I had to schedule a month out. I asked if they would have the parts for the recall in stock when I brought the vehicle in.They said yes. I dropped the vehicle off and left it with them. I called twice the next day for a status and had to leave a message as no one would answer. I went to pick the car up the next evening and it hadn't even been touched. The keys were still in the envelope for the drop box. They said they didn't have the part for the recall. This is the third time this has happened to me. Communication with the service personnel is extremely poor. I don't understand why I have to schedule a month out for service, they know what part I need, and yet they can't get it into stock and have it reserved. The service said the part would be in the next day. I informed him I needed the car and would need to reschedule. He returned the keys and walked away. The service here used to be great. Over the past 2 to 3 years it has been steadily going downhill. I would not recommend this service department to anyone.

I took my car for it be fixed while it was still under factory warranty, they were about to charge me until I disputed. The issue on the car was not fixed and the representative has told me it was a damaged bolt joint, the day (12/08/2021)I went to get it replaced, the same representative was asking me which side of the car was it?if the car was really checked, how come he didn’t know which side it was. The service is very poor and the job was not done at all and I’m very disappointed with Hyundai on every level. They just wanna get you out of there so they can move on to the next job that brings in money.

Poor customer service. We had purchased three cars from them, one new and two used, and can't imagine buying another. Both sales and service have been a nightmare. Go to another dealer.
