My experience with Ken Ganley Kia Mentor was absolutely
My experience with Ken Ganley Kia Mentor was absolutely terrible. I purchased a used car on 4/16/25 a Volkswagen Tiguan, and as soon as they accepted my money and the paperwork was signed my sales person said “By the way, if anything goes wrong with the car then you have to take it to Volkswagen because we don’t fix those kind of cars here.” That’s something that should’ve been told beforehand. Ok, whatever. The car had a horrendous odor, it smelled like someone threw up in it, they never cleaned the inside of it beforehand, there was leftover trash all in the car. An hour later the check engine light comes on and I take it back to my sales person he said he’ll have to take it to Volkswagen to have it fixed. In the meantime I had a loaner from them. I also tell him about the car smells like someone puked in it not being cleaned and still having trash in it. He said he doesn’t know how his detailing department missed that and he’ll make it right. SPOILER ALERT: he never did. I get the car back 4/18/25, I drive the car to work in 4/22/25 and the car won’t start, I call my sales person again, he takes the car to VW and I get a loaner. At this point I hate the car and do not want the car anymore. But my sales person said the car has been funded and there isn’t anything that he can do. Fine, whatever. I get the car back again 5/15/25. On 5/17/25 I’m driving the car again and another battery light comes on and the car has a warning light reading stop the engine because of some other battery. I take the car back to my sales person so he can take it back to VW. He kept saying that he’s going to try everything to get me out of this car. Which please do because I absolutely HATE this car. So at this point I’m annoyed and I have yet the same loaner car that I’ve previously had. Then I finally get the car back 7/28/25 and supposedly everything is fixed. I asked what happened to working so hard to get me away from this car? He said he couldn’t do it (not that he even tried). So I have the car back. It still has the throw up smell and filthy from the previous owner. This car is gross and I hate it. My son even found a school picture of someone’s kid in it, probably the previous owner kid. In a nutshell I will NEVER buy from ANY Ken Ganley again. I should’ve known better and went where I always go to Classic Chevy in Mentor, because I don’t have these problems there. And when they say they’re going to do something they do it. I wrote this same review on Google and the owner commented saying someone will get in contact with me soon, hahaha no one ever did. This place is a joke.
