DONT BELIEVE 5 STAR REVIEWS They are bought or bribed.

DONT BELIEVE 5 STAR REVIEWS They are bought or bribed. (At least some of them) Today service manager Ashley Doering offered me ~$150 (after consulting with her manager) to write a 5 star review of my service experience. I said I’ll write a review AFTER everything is done NOT before. That’s blackmail (or rather bribery). I said good reviews are earned not bought. She did not agree …and I said “keep your money. I’m not going to lie for $150." 1 STAR - IS MORE ACCURATE. HERE'S WHY... They kept my car for 5 days when the work should have been done in 1 or 2. I brought it in last Sunday for an early Monday AM appointment - so they had it well before my appointment. I picked up the car late Friday afternoon - 5 full work days later. That's when I paid the huge bill. OURISMAN FAIRFAX KIA CHARGES TOO MUCH AND BILLS YOU FOR JUNK CHARGES They charged me $225 to test drive my car and they found no problem. I had to tell them what to do to fix it. Then on top of the expensive repairs, they add a bunch of extra garbage fees: $77 (13%) for "shop supplies" & a “compliance” fee $21 (3%) for a credit card fee I don’t plan on returning ever.

Boris was wonderful and helpful. He attempted to find the best option for me to buy a fitting car. I've had previous experiences and never at this level. Everyone was very helpful and kind.

Agree with negative reviews below noting that customer

Agree with negative reviews below noting that customer service at this location has continued to go downhill. The quality of the mechanics has also deteriorated. Customers are paying an additional parts charge even on oil changes making the cost approximately $200 - almost double the average cost. In addition, the 3% charge for credit card use is also passed to the customer which is not typical at other locations around town. Recommend finding a new place to service your Kia.

They no longer offer free oil changes for customers who

They no longer offer free oil changes for customers who purchased the car with free oil changes for life. There was no warning about this so when I got to the dealership to have my oil changed the woman who was working pointed to signs saying they no longer honor the free oil changes for life and will now be charging $125 per oil change. This dealership has gone downhill. I highly recommend staying away from this STEALERSHIP and going somewhere where they care about their customers.

Dealer response

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you've experienced. We understand your frustration regarding the changes to our oil change offer and the challenges with the phone system. We are continuously working to improve our services, and your concerns about the credit card fee have been noted. The fee was implemented to help offset processing costs, but we’ll certainly take your comments into consideration as we review our policies. We value your business and hope to regain your trust by making improvements to better serve you in the future.

I contacted the dealership to double-check that the cars

I contacted the dealership to double-check that the cars were available, and I received confirmation via email and chat (through their website) that they were still available. Went out on the same day to the place, and the workers' professionalism was very low. Took long to park since the garage/mechanic staff (9+) gathered in front socializing blocking the parking area and wouldn't move. Once we got out, one man approached us and we informed him about specific cars. Showed him the lot/item numbers and he said they were new cars but walked us to the pre-owned vehicle section across the road, he went into a small office and came out to inform me not one but three cars were sold yesterday. It made no sense, I explained to him that I received confirmation, and he kept being pushy & insisting I buy a used car instead. The cars we proceeded to show me were in bad shape. Days later, I received a notification from the dealership asking if I was still interested in the original cars since they were still available. Informed them one of their staff had lied about availability and I no longer wanted to work with them.

went to get an oil change - when i got their they told me the policy has changed and the oil change is no longer free - not when i booked the appt but when i showed up - they said this is a direct change from mr ourisman. I let them know I was upset because there was no notice. I was told I would have to wait 45 min to speak yo a manager but there was nothing I could do and that they were sorry - not okay in my book

Dealer response

I apologize for the frustration caused by the unexpected policy change during your oil change visit. We should have communicated this change more effectively. Please reach out if you need anything further or if there’s anything we can do to resolve this issue. Thank you for your understanding.

Consumer response

yes some communication would have been helpful . The manager didn't say because of all the miscommunication they would do the oil change today for free however, when I went back to get it done, David at the service desk was very rude and told me no who's paying for this one of the managers came and talk to him he still could not help me and I had to work with another service desk employee. She was nice and polite - Still really disappointed in the unprofessional communication and attitude that I received from David
