I found my loca VW dealer!
Because I bought my preowned car at a non-VW dealership, I was directed to Young VW, Mazda for service on a recall. From the moment I walked in the door of the Young service dept., I was greeted cordially and directed to the VW desk. The gentleman there called me by name, expecting my arrival to the appointment. The technician who would work on my car was there also. I was able to discuss the car and get immediate feedback from him. They told me it would be 1 1/2 hours to wait. They pointed out the customer lounge, and I went there to wait. Almost exactly 1 1/2 hours later the gentleman from the desk told me the car was ready. Because it was a recall, there was no charge, yet they washed my car before turning it back over to me! They also checked a couple of things and did not charge me. I was completely impressed and will return there in the future.
