Don’t cater to customer, they overcharge for everything.

Don’t cater to customer, they overcharge for everything.. Schedule an appointment two weeks out for 8am left car day prior. Called at 2pm car Never touch the until 10 mins to close. Called service writer and she seemed annoyed that I was calling her..

In March of 2022 we brought our 2016 Dodge Grand caravan

In March of 2022 we brought our 2016 Dodge Grand caravan in for a check engine light and it wasn't running. My service advisor was Ben, at which was then Crown dodge was awesome. He explained that i had to pay for a diagnostic so they could figure out what was wrong with it. After several days they had figured out that the rockers were not good. Because I had bought a extended warranty when I bought the van I only had to pay a deductible but that had me back on the road in no time with great service. I was told that I had a 2 year warranty on parts and labor for the work performed. Van has been running great until February 24, 2024 while leaving a birthday party the engine made a loud banging sound and stopped working. We tried to start it a few times but it wouldn't start. I thought that my fuel pump had died since I had just gone over 103,000 miles. We had the van towed to a shop that trusted to run diagnostics and fix the problem. When they had called me and told me fuel pump is good but not all the cylinders were firing properly so they were going to dig deeper. That's when I told them of the work that crown dodge did with the rockers and spark plugs. So he said if it looked like a rocker problem he will close it up and help take it to Fayetteville dodge ram (crown dodge). About an hour later the mechanic had called me and said that we had a problem. He told me when he popped off the valve cover he saw immediately a rocker problem and that he was going to close it up and help me take it to the dealer for the warranty. My van was dropped off on Sunday March 3, 2024 to the dealership for me. On March 4, 2024 I went in to the service department and was helped by Melissa. I had explained to her the problem with the van and it should be under warranty. Melissa said I had to pay a diagnostic fee of $199 to diagnose it. I sad yes and proceed. I was told it would probably be a couple days till they get to it. To my surprise a technician got to it that day cause I got a text @2:27pm with the recommendations. What was recommendations was for a whole new engine block with a price of $13,000+. After the shock was settled I called Melissa my service advisor to ask why was this not cover under warranty. Her reply was no pressure in cylinder 1 and 3 and that is what the technician recommends. So I asked her about the rockers she told me that they didn't take anything apart and that I should have to pay for an engine breakdown to look if that is the problem. Frustrated I told her I had to think about it and I would call back. A day later after I calmed down a little I called the service department and asked how much an engine breakdown was? I was quoted $1,520.00 !!! Well needless to say my van is still sitting outside there service department

Dealership didn't have the exact vehicle I was looking

Dealership didn't have the exact vehicle I was looking for, really wanted a diesel maybe in the 2019-2021 range, in a 1500 or 2500 platform. Though the vehicle I left with was good, though the price I paid was higher than KBB after doing some more research. Personally, I should have left and done more research on other RAM vehicles available after learning they didn't have the exact platform I was looking for. But I feel as a dealership that helped you since I had limited knowledge on my part, so took away from my ability to counter appropriately.

Watch out for Hudson Automotive Group Dealerships (just

Watch out for Hudson Automotive Group Dealerships (just look at the fiasco going on in Greensboro), don't let them get you on first pencil, and go over fees with a fine tooth comb. This applies to all dealerships. Be aware of the end of the month sales! They are not sales, just listings posted on their website to get you in the door. So glad that I didn't purchase my vehicle here for many reasons that are all now coming to light, and contacted a prominent youtuber that deals in these matters. I asked if the discounts and rebates applied to everyone or people just covered under them. Was told they would honor the price. Have proof of this. Was pre-approved from my own bank, so the price goes up $1250, because you have to use their financing, at a rate not comparable to mine..Extremely aggressive on this...So all discounts did not apply, which I clearly asked about, and have proof of correspondence. Took off of work to go to this dealer. They ran my credit again. Shouldn't have allowed this. Ended up with a quote where I could have got an upgraded package from my local dealer. EDIT: There are ways to fight back against these fraudulent activities such as filing a complaint with the FTC, and unlikely as it seems the DOT, and the consumer division of NCDOJ. Don't let them say they will honor a quote, then not; or any other unethical business practices. Glad people are fighting back against these stealerships!
