A native of Blue Ridge, Billy Ballew grew up idolizing Georgia racing legends like Bill Elliott, Fonty Flock and Red Byron. He went on to become a successful team owner in NASCAR's Camping World Truck Series. He fielded trucks in 365 races over 17 years, winning 20 races and scoring 68 top-five and 122 top-10 finishes along with six poles. His driver line-up included some of the sport's top drivers including Kyle Busch, Kurt Busch, Denny Hamlin, Martin Truex Jr., Geoffrey Bodine, Michael Waltrip and Aric Almirola, along with Georgia drivers like Mark Gibson, Shane Sieg, Bobby Gill and Bill Lester.

Not great.

Not great. Really not great. They offer bottom dollar for your trade and they want 10% book/average sales price for their vehicles. Also keep in mind none of these vehicles are inspected or repaired prior to sale. There was not a "clean retail" quality vehicle on the lot. Dents, dings, scratches, bald tires, torn seats, rust and concrete on the undercarriage.....rough. Again but they want "excellent condition" money for their "rough condition" vehicles. But I sold my vehicle for more than double what they offered me in 1 day.

owned a car for 2 years, then all of sudden $5000+ in

owned a car for 2 years, then all of sudden $5000+ in repairs just to get it moving again. Yes, I am the sucker. Dishonest, and are just selling garbage. I was asked to get intouch with them if I was to have any issues. I don't have a lot of money, I make a good living, have Excellent credit, but I implore you, don't buy from here. They don't disclose everything about their cars. Forget about the CarFax. They sell cars that are in need of MAJOR repairs and hope it will last you a month so they are off the hook. Within 6 months of ownership I began noticing different issues, but were undiagnoseable until it was too late. Worst car buying experience I have ever had in 50 years.

Billy Ballew motorsports, is not like going to a regular used car lot. my salesman was Russ. He is great to work with. The man seems like he really cares. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS VEHICLES, I used all my saving at

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS VEHICLES, I used all my saving at 18 just for it to break down 32 DAYS LATER, they don’t care what they sell you they just want the money. as a young girl I should’ve known better but also shouldn’t be taken advantage of. I still have 5 grand on the vehicle to pay off and it’s been sitting ever since it broke down cause it cost almost as much of the payoff just to FIX IT. This is ridiculous this place needs to be shut down or ran differently. I’ll always be thankful to have a car but it being broken doesn’t really help. This has seriously been one of the biggest life lessons at such a young age but such a hard situation.

I am writing to address a deeply concerning and

I am writing to address a deeply concerning and inappropriate incident that occurred in relation to my car purchase at Billy Ballew in Dawsonville, Ga dealership. My intention is to bring to your attention the unprofessional and deceptive conduct I experienced, which I believe reflects poorly on your establishment's values and practices. As a recap, I visited your dealership with specific requirements for my vehicle purchase, including a maximum APR threshold and the inclusion of full Gap coverage. Regrettably, these requirements were not upheld, and I was left deeply dissatisfied with my experience. However, what transpired afterward has left me both shocked and disappointed. After 2 months an individual from Billy Ballew dealership drove a considerable distance of two hours, in the middle of the night, to surreptitiously place the necessary paperwork in my car. While I acknowledge the effort made to rectify the situation, this action raises serious concerns about the transparency, honesty, and ethical standards of your dealership. Rather than addressing the issue through open communication, the dealership opted for a secretive and unprofessional approach, causing further distress and discomfort for me as a customer. This incident undermines the trust I had initially placed in your dealership and calls into question the integrity of your business practices. I would get into the disgusting things the finance manager done to me but we will save that for court.
