David Villado was my sales guy who put up with me for

David Villado was my sales guy who put up with me for roughly 6 months. During that time frame, I contacted him multiple times on different vehicles I would be interested in. He would run the numbers and get back with me Without any complaints for not purchasing first few vehicles that I had Inquired about. David would always answer my questions. Even if he didn't know the answer, he would find out and get right back to me. He's the reason I purchased my first truck through Covert Bee Cave and brought a friend later in the week so he could get one. I had a great experience purchasing my vehicle through Covert and will be back in the future.

Zero follow up to any concerns.

Zero follow up to any concerns. They don’t answer the phone and then when I drove up there they suggested I drive to Audi for the issues that’s should’ve been fixed before sale. Finance took way longer than it should to pay off the trade in.

I want to clarify that every finance deal is different and very critical, as errors in this process can lead to issues with bank funding as well as complications with licensing. For that reason, accuracy must always take priority over speed to protect our customers and ensure everything is handled correctly. Regarding your vehicle concerns, you were referred to Audi because certain services, such as warranty work, are best performed by them and may be covered under their programs rather than becoming an out-of-pocket expense for you. I understand how frustrating delays and lack of follow up can feel, and I appreciate you bringing this to our attention so we can work to improve the process.

For the funding. I understand that can be the bank side. It would’ve been a lot less frustrating if someone would’ve picked up the phone to let me know it was being handled. Out of pocket expenses and concerns to customer are the least of your worries i’m sorry to say. Thats why I drove up there 3 times instead of receiving a call back and have yet to receive a single call back. For the out of pocket expense to replace stuff that your “100+ point” inspection failed to pick up. Like torched rubber on the windshield wipers. I’m also sorry to say someone’s not doing their job. Battery on the key fob was dead, wipers were replaced, CarPlay was dripping and trunk didn’t open.

I had a positive experience negotiating with the Sales Team at Covert and ultimately walked away satisfied with the deal. The team was professional and responsive throughout the process. However, I want to flag a pricing practice that’s becoming increasingly common—not just at Covert, but across many dealerships. After advertising a competitive base price, they add a separate line item labeled as an “addendum” for services already performed on the vehicle. In my case, this added $3,500—roughly 10% above the advertised price—which can significantly change the cost if you're not prepared. Fortunately, I was able to negotiate this addendum and reach a drive-out price that worked for me. I recommend that buyers go in informed, ask direct questions about all line items, and be ready to negotiate. Transparency matters, and with the right approach, you can still achieve a fair outcome.
