I visited dealership on Feb 20 to look as pre-owned 2024

I visited dealership on Feb 20 to look as pre-owned 2024 and new 2025 CRVs. Price negotiations were back and forth, but the trouble started with the financing bit. First of all, the finance manager, John Curtis, started by upselling us on some optional maintenance package before discussing what the payment plan for the base purchase we we planning to make. He was trying to talk up a total payment including the optional package until I stopped him to discuss the payments for the sale excluding everything else that we had the option to decline. Unbeknown to us, he had included an interest rate of over 8% for a customer with a credit score close to 800! After I vehemently declined that, he suddenly found another interest rate of 6.24 with another institution. Thankfully, we couldn’t buy the car that day after spending hours at the dealership because they couldn’t process the down payment amount on a credit card. Nobody at the dealership told us policy did not permit this type of transaction until the very end. This was strange especially since I was even willing to pay the 3% surcharge for paying with credit card. But that mishap was our savior because we went to another Honda dealership down the road th next day and we got the same new 2025 at a lightly lower price and an interest rate of 2.25 from Honda!!!! John Curtis told us when we challenged the interest rate he quoted that Honda’s interest rate was even higher than 8%. I understand that car dealerships need to make a profit as a business but the disingenuous before of all the people I encountered at this dealership was so troubling that I cannot recommend the dealership to any body. Buyer beware!!

I was quoted a price, which doubled when I arrived to

I was quoted a price, which doubled when I arrived to drop it off for the appointment!!! The price of just the part was almost triple what was on the work up they gave me when they diagnosed it! Thankful I found out before I left it with these crooks!!! They lost a customer today!!!

I stopped in as a matter of convenience because it’s

I stopped in as a matter of convenience because it’s close to where I work. I needed to check a recall and also asked to have 2 trim pieces installed that snap in under the windshield. The recall was free of charge but installing the trim pieces cost a whopping $133! It took their tech all of 10 minutes and they robbed me blind. They charged a full hr of labor for 10 minutes of work. Crooks!!! I’ll never go back there for anything.

BEWARE OF CROOKS@ Randy Marion Honda Salisbury NC

BUYERS BEWARE!! We made two trips (2.5 hours one way) to Randy Marion Honda in Salisbury NC to purchase a truck advertised for $9,882. As soon as they figured out how much cash down payment we had they raised the price to $12,300 with a bunch of "FEES". The second trip we were ready to purchase at the $12,300 agreed upon but they increased the price to $13,500!! I will be reporting these unscrupulous people to the FTC, BBB, NC State Attorney General and whomever else I can as this is illegal and needs to be addressed! Joshua Zickafoose (finance), Austin Martin (sales) and their manager were all involved in this underhanded business.

Buyer beware of added fees!!

Too many added fees! Advertised price is very misleading! They were only willing to negotiate a little. They would only come off a few hundred dollars after wanting to charge nearly 4,000 in fees.

Unethical Sales Manager

Unfortunately, I had a very poor experience here. One of the Sales Reps, Gary Junker, was extremely friendly and helped me identify the car I desired (2024 Honda Sport Hybrid). When I started the process of getting my old car appraised for trade-in value, the Sales Manager/Lead (Travis Williams) got very aggressive and refused to let me leave unless I agreed to purchase a new vehicle. I denied his offer for the trade-in of my old car three times and tried to up the price close to what I requested, yet still he refused to return my car keys until I spoke with the Finance Manager. I was extremely uncomfortable throughout the whole situation and told him multiple times I wanted a few days to think about the purchase.

Not your Gerry Woods Honda

Had been a customer of Gerry Woods Honda for 6 years. He sold out to Randy Marion and things changed. If you wish to pay for service/repairs with credit card you now pay a 3 % surcharge. So I will take my business elsewhere.

Jessica Linville is such a good employee.

Jessica Linville is such a good employee. She makes me feel like I am the only customer she has when I go in for service(which of course I am not). Went in yesterday for service and she handled it within a timely manner. Very, very satisfied
