Read the fine print before you go.

Read the fine print before you go. There was dealer installed items that they try to charge to you. I guess every dealer does that...but price you see is NOT the PRICE YOU PAY.

Absolutely horrible, cannot be trusted, bait and switch,

Absolutely horrible, cannot be trusted, bait and switch, hidden costs...zero integrity. Be aware. SIMI VALLEY Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM had failed to provide equipment and services they charged for, continually lied and changed their stories and overcharged during this sale and has proved to be non-truthful and credible when dealing with the after-sale issues. This vehicle, upon brought home developed major issues and should have never been on the lot for sale as there was no true presale inspection of this vehicle. There were issues upon purchase: Low Tire (Sales Rep had the team inspect the tire and it was a bad sensor, they replaced it: One brake light was out, they did not repair it, as they were closing. I asked where the goose neck ball was as that is a component of the towing package and was missing. They told me their parts shop was closed and they would look into it. It was noted that the side tool boxes had not been cleaned, nothing the detailing was superficial and not detailed. They cleaned them as I had asked. I asked for the second key, as they could not find it, and told me that they would get me one, as well a contact the previous owner about the second key and the goose next ball. (NOTE: In this day in time a second key FOB is ESSENTIAL, for is a key FOB is lost / broken, etc…you cannot call a locksmith, the truck / vehicle is dead lined). In hindsight I should have left the truck there, but promises were made and not kept on multiple points. The next day we reviewed the paperwork, and we questioned a very vague $3K charge that was not clear. I called Mr. Asad, the sales manager, as asked what this charge was. He told me it was a vehicle protection system consisting of a Low Jack GPS Tracking System; special paint protection; engraving on the windows, locking lugs and Nitrogen in the tires, but there were no green caps on the tires indicating any nitrogen. On 14 May, I told him the detailing was poorly done as I had to reclean the vehicle. I could not find the LoJack system, and he told me it was located under the dash under the steering column, of which I could not find…and he said it was there as he could see the vehicle on his system there and would take a few days to transfer it over. I told him I had to replace two bubs on the 3d brake light that morning, and cleaned out behind the cargo management system as it had not been touched and there was a large amount of debris behind it. I had detailed the truck myself and could not detect any type of wax or coating on the truck, as there were chips in the paint (sharp edges and holes where rocks had chipped the paint), as there was no residue inside the chips indicating any type of wax or coating. He stated that there was always “etching” on the glass, but there was actually no etching on the glass for the security enhancement and accessories. All of this led to a lot of questions and concerns as this continued to develop. That afternoon we took the truck to Victorville, and I tuned on the windshield wiper and drivers side wiper blade came off and just the metal arm went across the wind shield. I tuned it off and pulled off the road to grasp what was happening, and noted they had changed one wiper blade and not the other…(cost cutting or expediency ?). I sent Mr. Assad pictures of this as it happened. I pulled into an O’Reilly’s and replaced the blade and sent him the $40 receipt. Mr. Asad stated we would talk the following week when he came back to work. Later the next day as I was standing in the garage, while speaking to Mr. Asad, I noted a semi large oil spot and leakage on my driveway, and I mention this to him. I told him I would watch it to see if it was a leak or just oil that may have been spilled on a crossmember. In summary, promises were hollow and without substance. Again, be wary, very wary. Sales team moves vehciles...that is all they care about. Once out the door, they don't care.

Sales manager Assad will say anything to make a sale.

Sales manager Assad will say anything to make a sale. Lied to me about putting new tires on my truck to get me to take the truck. Made an appointment for me to come in and was an hour late. Then when he finally arrived told me swapping with another trucks tires was my only option and that he never told me he'd get me new tires. Not only did he say he would, he specifically told me the brand and style he was ordering. I was furious for waiting an hour for him to show up, then felt like a complete fool for believing I was getting the new tires he showed me on his computer. By far the worst experience I've ever had buying a car. Oh and I forgot to mention I asked him not to run my credit until he could absolutely get me the APR he promised. He ran it, came back with a higher rate and continued to tell me that was the best he could do and when I said forget it all of a sudden a lower rate came up! The shadiest rudest person I've ever done business with. I was thrown out with no tires and he even went as far as to tell one of his employees not to help me or they would be fired. I've never seen or even heard of anything like it. Not once was I as much as apologized to for any of it. BUYER BEWARE!

We drove 6 hours to buy a used Jeep Wrangler for my daughter's first car. They rushed us through when we first contacted them, saying we had to do everything quick, online because so many people wanted it. Sadly, we didn't read all the fine print, a later issue. We drive all the way down there. No buyer's guide on or with the vehicle so we never saw info about a 30 day powertrain warranty. Didn't know about it. Again, we get rushed through the paperwork, the whole time though stating we did not want to pay for any extra warranty. We missed the fact that in the paper work, this dealership has an extra "required" charge of $2500 for paint protection, getting a number inscribed on the door jam and some other thing no one needs. No one EVER told us this. We went through cars.com to find and contact them, price was listed without the $2500 charge. With taxes, interest, dmv fees, etc, the math was close, so we never caught that charge - yes, shame on us for trusting this dealership. We we realized this the next day after driving 6 hours home, we realized what had happened, and after texting with one of the managers, Asad, it was basically sorry, not sorry, here's a couple free oil changes. I asked for a copy of the $2500 charge, which I still have in the message thread, it says "Installed on ALL new vehicles," not used, so we wouldn't have even thought about it anyway. He said the other chrysler dealers charge even more, like $6000. So, take note, you are paying a $2500 useless money grab fee when you buy from this dealer. Then, we realize we might have a starter issue. They didn't give us the carfax, so we had to request that also. They was a starter replaced a year ago. But, you can tell this was not a starter issue. After going through all sorts of info gathering on our own, it appears to be an issue that some Jeep owners have of the neutral safety switch on the transmission. When the Jeep won't start, you can push the shifter forward a hair when already in park and the switch will engage and the vehicle will start. I contacted Asad again through text, no response. After 2 weeks, I followed up. He said sorry, not covered. I mentioned it was a transmission issue, then it was covered but it was only covered if we brought it 6 hours back to them. Again.... NO mention of the 30 day warranty or how it works to us at the dealership, nothing. Then he attempted to shame me for not buying an extended warranty and then offered to buy it back at fair market value with a little smiling emoji. If I have ever received a proverbial middle finger from anyone, it was Asad. So, maybe there are good people at this dealership, maybe Asad simply is the worst, but be aware, read EVERYTHING and trust no one. Our course of action is legal advice. After all this, we'd simply like a new neutral safety switch installed. I have already bought it, just need it installed but Asad is not having it.
