I understand when you buy a used car you are going to

I understand when you buy a used car you are going to have repairs that you have to do but when you buy a used car, it should be safe enough to be driving. I was told that the car I bought had been inspected because that’s what Michigan expects for every dealership inspection for safety. I was driving down the road I had I owned the car for two years. I’m driving down the road and the engine falls out two cars almost slammed me from the side, and I almost got rear ended from the back. Luckily, they slammed on their brakes and didn’t hit me. The engine was falling out on the driver side. Once I took it to the mechanic he told me the subframe was rotted throughout the entire car the front subframe was gonna cost me $5500 to get fixed because I took out a loan from my bank on this car. I had no choice I had to get the car fixed so I had to take out a loan again for $5500 as well as $10,000. I paid for the car and the car is only worth $2500 now I’m still paying on it and because the bank still has the deed on it I have to pay the highest amount of insurance which is $250 a month so I’m paying $800 a month for a car that is so rusted underneath that it should never have been sold to me I was lied to the suffering is going to have to be fixed in the back too. It could fall apart any day now the mechanic told me and that’s going to be another $3500. This dealership does not care about you. I have written the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General for the state of Michigan. The Attorney General told me that Michigan does not require dealerships to get inspections so I was lied to. I was told that it had been inspected by the person that sold me the car that’s what I mean by their gaslighting they will say anything to sell you the car. I’ve now been told by the Attorney General. It would be better to do this in civil court and I plan on doing that when I went onto the Better Business Bureau site to make my complaint there and I pulled up icon auto there were four other complaints right there on the same page as I was on making the same kind of complaints against icon auto so most of the reviews that have been put up must just be put their by the dealership because they look like good reviews, but this place is not a good place to buy a car if you go on the Better Business Bureau site look up icon auto you will see all of the the complaints against icon auto and with how they’ve treated people like they’ve treated me. I would download pictures and you could see all the rested parts cause I have them all, but I don’t know how to download any pictures on this site.

Had a very positive experience buying a 2015 Subaru from

Had a very positive experience buying a 2015 Subaru from Icon. Found a car of interest on Cars.com on a weekend night, messaged Icon through that website, and got a response from them first thing in the morning on Monday. The car I liked was still available, so I scheduled a test drive, and Jennifer worked up some good financing options in the meantime. A couple days later, my son and I test drove the car, loved it, and took it home that afternoon. Their inventory was excellent - definitely my taste - so had this car not been available, we would likely have test drove another. Jennifer and Nacole answered all my questions (and I ask a lot) and were friendly and pleasant to work with, and them and the folks behind the scenes made the whole thing a quick and enjoyable experience. We are very happy with the Subaru, and I would highly recommend checking out the if you are shopping for a new-to-you ride. I will definitely be going back when it's time for our next vehicle.

Don’t buy a used car from these people

They knowingly sell vehicles with MAJOR mechanical issues; they don’t do thorough diagnostics of the vehicles before selling them. Even if the issue is discovered within days of your purchase, they will do the bare minimum to rectify the matter and try to make you go away. Their warranty is worth nothing. Owner is hard to work with and not trustworthy. Avoid them at all costs.
