I bought a low mileage 2000 Porsche 911 convertible in April. I talked to the owner, made the deal, and they held the car with a small deposit for 3 days while I commuted from Tennessee. The transaction went well except for the aftermarket radio not having a CD player as stated by the owner. The owner did not hesitate and ordered a JVC CD player. Better system now than what was in the car. No used car is perfect and has bugs that generally don’t show up immediately.

I’m going to keep this as short as possible though it’s a very long story. I just want to stick to the absolute bear basic facts so nobody else gets put in a bad way. Also, keeping this as brief as I can, as the owner has become irate, has threatened me and is using the little language to try to make me go away. I bought a relatively rare car that was hard to find that this dealership happen to have. I read the reviews and they were pretty good and it seemed as if they were being open and honest with me. Long and short of it is it took almost a month for them to deliver the car they said could take a few days. I asked so many times if there’s anything wrong with this car, I know it’s 20 years old. I’m not expecting perfection but just tell me what’s wrong. I specifically asked if things like the heat in the AC worked and they gave me the affirmative. The car arrived, two of the four seatbelt latches did not work, which is federally illegal to sell a car. That way, their solution was to mail me the latch so I could install myself. It’s when I brought up that the heat doesn’t work that the owner told me the car is as is a pound sand. I explained that I understand the car was sold as is, however, I specifically asked if certain things worked and they lied to me. I’m going to continue to post reviews until both my seatbelts are working and the heat is working. I just simply want the car to come as advertise. They also lied about the condition of the pain and body, though I’m willing to forgive that if I can just get the heat and my seatbelts to work. I will continue to post anywhere I can to make sure no one else gets hurt until they make my situation right. I’ve reached out to the state Attorney General in Florida and they confirm that since they did tell me that the Car, both verbally and in writing was in good working order specifically the heat and AC that they are Under the obligation to make sure that that was true when the car was delivered. They also confirmed that it is not legal to sell someone a car where the seatbelts don’t work and they are responsible for fixing. Donor also told me I’d have to drive the car to Florida even though he delivered at 800 miles in the state attorneys General office also confirmed that that is not reasonable and he is very much putting himself at huge liability by refusing to fix Two of the four seatbelts that are broken in a car he sold. Last thing here, the owner claims that they didn’t know about the heat even though they owned their car for four months and he claimed to have driving it for two of those months. He said it’s always 90° in Florida, but go and look up what the average low temperature is in Fort Myers in December and January. He also claimed there’s no way for them to know that two of the four seatbelts don’t work. I feel like checking them would be a good start. Buyer beware!

If I could give one stars I would!
If I could give one stars I would! I placed a deposit in a vehicle. The owner agreed on a price and ensured the vehicle would be held for me. I also payed for a pre purchase inspection to be completed ahead of the purchase. I called back to speak with the owner who then cut me off and said he sold the vehicle from under me and the other seller offered more money. He said he would refund my deposit and said it’s just business. I said well I will be doing a review of your business. He then offered to pay me back for the pre purchase inspection if I didn’t leave a review. I said no sir I don’t do business that way. My grandfather always taught me your word is your bond. And if you don’t have your word you don’t have anything. The owner here sold his integrity for a dollar and it’s a shame. Also have to mention after the inspection there were things uncovered that weren’t mentioned in the ad. All in all I’m not sure what anyone else’s experience was here. But I have never been treated like this as a buyer i will never do business with this place. The key to good business is honestly, integrity, and trust. Ps Mike. You’ll get repeat customers with better morals.
