Great vehicle - NIGHTMARE trade-in experience!

Great vehicle - NIGHTMARE trade-in experience! It’s been 39 days since we bought a vehicle from Parkline and they have NOT paid off my trade-in! Utah law (Utah Code Section 41-3-402) says a dealer must remit payment to the lienholder to pay off the lien within 21 calendar days from the sale date of the new vehicle. I was forced to pay another $525+ car payment so my credit didn’t take a hit, which I now have to recover from them as well as still get them to pay off the vehicle. I have called too many times to count, and Justin is ALWAYS too busy to take my call and never calls back

I contacted Parkline Motors inquiring about a Pathfinder

I contacted Parkline Motors inquiring about a Pathfinder located on their lot. The car was listed in KSL. Santiago returned my call and invited us to come see the Pathfinder. During the discussion I had mentioned needing a four wheel drive vehicle. Santiago was honest with me and informed me that the Pathfinder I was interested in was not a four wheel drive-it was equipped with front wheel drive. Santiago asked me to go over the details of what I was looking for with him so that he could help me find a vehicle that checked every box. After doing that, we hung up and I went back online to search for the perfect car for our family needs. The next day I woke up feeling discouraged from not finding what I needed yet. Santiago called to tell us that he had located a few cars that had all of the features we discussed the day before. What a relief! I was so impressed that he had put in the time to help us and very grateful. We went to see the cars he had in mind the very same day. When we arrived Santiago showed us the cars and took us through all of the components that each car had that was on our list. The cars were super clean and had a nice smell. Under the hood the engine was very clean and looked well kept. One of the cars had a salvage title. Santiago was upfront with disclosing that detail and he even went as far as to show us online photos of what the car looked like after its collision so that we were fully aware of what the car had been through before it was rebuilt. That was not something I would expect a car salesman to do. That in itself spoke volumes. I knew that Santiago had our best interest at heart and we were doing business with someone we could trust. We did not end up going with the rebuilt title car, instead we ended up purchasing the four wheel drive Pathfinder that Santiago magically had available for us to look at. The Pathfinder was not available on his lot the day before so he had to have found it somewhere and purchased it with us in mind. The Pathfinder was equipped with every feature we were interested in. The only issue was that the total after all taxes and fees was about $1500 above what we budgeted to spend. We explained to him that the only thing holding us back was that $1500. He made some calls to speak to someone about how they could help us and came back with an offer to meet us in the middle. They reduced the car by $750. That made it a little easier for us and we appreciated the service and care so much that we took the offer. The financing process was a few days longer than we had expected but that was not the dealerships doing. The hold up was caused by the bank needing documents from us before approving the loan. Santiago was patient and held the car for us throughout the financing process and once all was finalized we were able to drive away with our new (used) 2020 Nissan Pathfinder. Contacting Santiago was just the thing I needed to get rid of the headache I was experiencing during my stressful hunt for our new car. I recommend to anyone looking for some stress relief in your car hunting experience, do yourself the biggest favor. Let Santiago and the employees at Parkline Motors ease your pain. You will be in hands that can be trusted to take care the heavy lifting, so you can relax and enjoy the experience. 100% recommend this dealership to my friends, family and everyone.

Parkline Motors will go the extra mile for a customer,

Parkline Motors will go the extra mile for a customer, even so far as to pick up a customer at the airport. HOWEVER, they did not vet the used vehicle they sold to us, and owning it has been a repair nightmare. Within a month the airbag light was coming on, a piece of trim had flown off on the roadway, and the exterior sensors were going off at random. I contacted them about all these issues. It took several months to diagnose the reason for the airbag light, unfortunately it was a critical operation issue. Parkline denied ever communicating with me about the airbag lights. Parkline refused to fix the problem or acknowledge they had sold a vehicle with a severe safety issue. I do not recommend using Parkline. If you do, seriously consider a thorough independent examination of the car you choose to buy.
