I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my experience
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my experience with this dealership was frustrating enough that I feel the need to warn others. I traveled nearly two hours because they had a car I’d been searching for. I wasn’t expecting a high-end showroom, just basic courtesy and a willingness to work with a serious buyer. Unfortunately, what I encountered was the opposite. After the test drive, I was ready to negotiate. The car was the exact model and trim I wanted, though it had cosmetic flaws that clearly weren’t factored into the pricing. I politely asked for a $500 reduction—very reasonable considering the condition and the inflated fees they tacked on. The salesperson immediately shot it down, claiming her boss wouldn’t go for it. When I asked to speak to him, I was met with rudeness and dismissiveness. Chandler, the manager, finally came out and instead of a respectful dialogue, greeted me with arrogance and sarcasm. His actual words: “Why would you drive two hours here if you didn’t want to pay the price? I wouldn’t have.” Clearly, professionalism isn’t his strong suit. He ultimately offered a $200 discount, not out of compromise, but to mock me by saying, “Just so YOU can feel like you ‘won’…” It wasn’t about the money—it was about the principle, the tone, and the lack of basic respect. They also tried to force an $899 theft device on me, saying it was “mandatory” because of CT crime rates—yet I live in upstate NY, and the device wasn’t even installed. When I challenged it, Chandler acted like he was doing me a huge favor by “removing” it. Financing was another headache. Numbers kept changing, interest rates were absurd (despite my excellent credit), and their pitch for overpriced warranties was relentless. I decided to find my own financing and requested to place a deposit on the car. Chandler refused, saying it would be too inconvenient if I changed my mind—again, treating me like my business didn’t matter. I ended up calling back a few days later to place the deposit. No one followed up. I had to initiate contact again, and when I finally spoke with someone, it felt like a surprise that I was still interested. Even then, they made it clear there would be no further negotiation since I planned to pay in full. On pickup day, the car wasn’t even cleaned as promised. The interior was still dirty, and cup holders were missing—when I pointed this out, they told me to “go on eBay.” The manager didn’t thank me, shake my hand, or acknowledge the sale at all just to top it off. Their “inspection” turned out to be an oil change and nothing more. Wiper blades hadn’t been replaced they were ripped, and based on the condition of the filter, even that change is questionable. Within days of purchase, my mechanic found an oil leak. So much for the “checked and ready” car. When I called to utilize the warranty, 60-day or 3,000 miles they told me to bring the car back. I explained I had the part numbers and information for where I had it looked at. They assured me they would order the parts, this way I only had to make one trip rather than multiple. I never received follow up on the parts, I never received a call back, nothing! Let’s add to that, I took the car for my own oil change shortly after driving the car because I just couldn’t take anymore more of my own chances without someone reputable looking at my car, so I went directly to the Audi dealership. I asked them to check the brakes because they seemed like they were very low warped, don’t you know, brakes and rosters are needed front and back…. $3,300! It seems high but I drive a car that requires higher end parts and I’m not complaining about that. It’s the fact that they didn’t check any of this and sold me a car that should have never left the lot. In short, this dealership prioritizes squeezing every dollar over treating customers with respect. Save yourself the frustration—shop elsewhere.

Advertised price is before they add 1300+ dollars in
Advertised price is before they add 1300+ dollars in xxxxxxxx fees plus they charge 700 more for doc fees then the average dealership. Then try to brag about their price being below market value because they hide the fees

Stay away from this place.
Stay away from this place. They promised us a certain amount for our trade in, SAID THEY DIDN"T NEED TO SEE IT IN PERSON. We get all the paperwork and financing set, show up to pick up the car and they tell us, “sorry, we can’t give you what we told you we would for your trade in, you’ll have to come up with the difference.” Shady business practice. If you’re not going to honor the trade in value that you assessed the vehicle to be, then tell customers to bring it in to get a trade in number. OUR SALEPERSON AGREED WITH US THAT THEY DID NOT DO THIS AND IT WOULD BE GOOD BUSINESS IF THEY DID. They tell you one thing to get you in the door and then change it last minute. Also their doc processing fee is $1000.

I recently purchased a car from Blasius New Britain, and
I recently purchased a car from Blasius New Britain, and it was one of the best car-buying experiences I've ever had. From start to finish, the team made everything as smooth as possible, and I couldn't be happier with my new car! Chandler Morris, the General Manager, went above and beyond by buying my previous car for more than it was worth and even more than other dealers offered. This was a huge relief and set a great tone for the rest of my experience. Jeff Tufano, the Business Manager, made financing a breeze. He guided me through the application process with patience, answering all my questions and helping me secure the best financing options. A special thank you to Bob, my salesperson, who welcomed me with such warmth and professionalism. He even took care of calling my insurance company to swap coverage to my new car, which saved me a lot of time and hassle. Overall, this team exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend Blasius New Britain to anyone looking for a fair, friendly, and efficient car-buying experience!

I was fortunate to find a used vehicle I was interested
I was fortunate to find a used vehicle I was interested in before I came in. I was immediately greeted by Leo, who was very friendly and helpful, and made sure everything was the way I wanted it. Jeffrey in lending was equally if not more helpful, and extremely patient as we worked hard to find financing that worked. He then helped me through step by step to get the car ready to drive off the lot that day. And the detail was spotless! Overall phenomenal experience, no pushing, highly recommend.

Purchased my truck here and am extremely satisfied. I was met by my salesperson and he kept in contact but was far from pushy. He followed up with me post purchase to make sure I wasn't having any issues or if I had any questions.
