Their service prices are extremely high.

Their service prices are extremely high. I recently got something jammed into my seatbelt when I put it on. I ended up not being able to get it back in so I took it to Spartanburg Honda. There was a small string caught in there from the jacket I had on. I thought someone would just pull it out but I waited over an hour and they sent me the video of them working on it. They told me that they could not get it out without damaging it and a whole new seat belt would need to be done at a cost of $666. In addition they presented me with an estimate of other maintenance and the entire bill was $2200. I said No! I took it to Firestone and when they removed the cover on the seat belt the string basically fell out. They did not charge me anything and they gave me an estimate on the other maintenance and it was 1/2 what Honda wanted. I spoke to the manage at Honda and he even said he could have fixed it himself.

We live near Asheville and reached out about leasing a

We live near Asheville and reached out about leasing a vehicle. This is our first time doing a lease. These folks are ON IT!! They helped us... and it wasn't just one person. It was a group effort. They kept us up to date every step of the way. We were able to do paperwork ahead of time to save time at the dealership. Haley was our first point of contact, with Internet Sales. Then we met DJ, our sales person... Who is an AWESOME, friendly, down to earth guy... then on to Thomas in finance. THIS TEAM KILLED IT and we appreciate it!

The worst I've seen on some time.

The worst I've seen on some time. Complete incompetence, borderline criminal behavior. I'm reporting to Consumer Affairs and BBB. As well as Spartanburg Chambers of Congress. Shame on you DEREK F.

They Lie about their Vehicle Pricing, to get you in then

They Lie about their Vehicle Pricing, to get you in then the Price changes to a higher price than shat brought you in. The vehicle was just in and I did Not know that it hadn’t went through a Service check. I liked the vehicle therefore I purchased it. But Never again will I deal with Spartanburg Honda again. This vehicle has been in an accident as well. I just found this out. Oh well. Again NEVER!

Eddie was wonderful!

Eddie was wonderful! On the other hand the finance manager Justin was awful. Tried cancelling warranty contract and he plays the hiding game from you. Based off how he’s been I won’t be back to Spartanburg Honda.

Always get an attitude from here despite being polite and

Always get an attitude from here despite being polite and just trying to order parts. Tried to get a quote on rounded screw repair and got told it would be $89 just to see it. Not work on it, not do any labor. Just to see it. If that’s the cost to see it, I don’t even want to know what they’d charge for the fix. Well, I managed to fix it with some elbow grease for free. Better off doing your own repairs if you don’t want them to take you for everything they can.

AVOID Spartanburg Honda at all costs.

AVOID Spartanburg Honda at all costs. Don't trust a word you hear from the folks who work there. I had an incredibly frustrating experience with their sales and finance team while attempting to purchase a Certified Pre-Owned Honda. Over the course of seven days I dealt with multiple representatives, including the finance manager Chris Bryan, who ran TEN SEPARATE hard credit pulls (three on Experian, three on TransUnion and four on Equifax). Despite having an 816 FICO score and a six-figure income, they excessively and irresponsibly used my credit authorization under the guise of securing the best rate. This was far beyond what I expected which was one or two hard credit checks at most. My primary contact, sales associate Hayley Tutterow, assured me on several occasions that the car I selected was reserved, stating that the keys were “on her desk” and waiting for me to finalize the purchase. But the night before we were set to pick up the car, she abruptly texted me past 7pm (not even a phone call) to say that the vehicle had been sold to someone else!!! Shortly thereafter I received a phone call from Nick Richardson, the internet sales manager, telling me - in direct contradiction to Hayley - that Spartanburg Honda doesn't reserve CPO cars, only new cars, and it was "first come, first serve." Hayley tried to talk me into purchasing a different vehicle than the one we spent numerous days working on purchasing, including a used car that had been in an accident! They knew we were coming the next day to take home our car and we had final approval for the financing mere hours before informing me they sold our car to another customer. I'm actually wondering if that car was ever available for sale or if was the "bait" in a "bait and switch" scheme? What a complete waste of our time and effort, all in the wake of the devastation of Hurricane Helene. If you value your time, money, credit score and prefer to deal with honest people, do yourself a favor and steer clear of Spartanburg Honda.
